Nah Hart playing is more likely for Jose to get sacked and then Paulo can come back to a non toxic club in the summer
even with a manager i absolutely do not want at the football club i will still support the team and want the best of course.
however part of me has hoped for a big injury or two just to highlight how poorly the squad has been used and managed.
Thing is, the best thing for the club is to get rid of Mourinho now - lance the boil before it becomes infected and does even more damage

Never understood why people are against bringing in a new manager part way through a season. It gives them a free hit to properly assess the squad before summer and get signings lined up
Wait until the end of the season and the manager has very little time to work out what's needed

We can basically write off this and next season.
have we sold Sissoko, Dier, Sanchez, Lamela and Lucas yet?
I hear JM has been transfer listed and PSG are keen on him, for a swap with MP?
don't quote on that ^ tho

Bet players like Son, Lloris, Kane and Lucas would be overjoyed if it did happen!

I work with a spurs fan who is outraged that Lucas and Lamela aren't starting regularly as he rates them massively
Realised after that conversation that hes a full on div

I liked what I saw of those 2 against WBA. That could be a starting line up to go with against the weaker opposition in the league. Against bigger and better opposition I'm not so sure.

their quality isnt really the problem for me
Lamela - injuries are a joke, misses at least half the season each season and been here 8 years ffs, way too long for what he has offered us which is pretty little.
Lucas - 1 good game in a handful isnt good enough, can easily be replaced by a youth prospect in the squad, uses up a non homegrown place, as does Lamela.
think theyre both 28 too, can be easily upgraded at not much expense with some decent scouting. For what they offer their wages are weighing us down.

That's genuinely the concern. I understand the logic, in theory, in giving Mourinho time, till the end of the season maybe, because generally speaking it's a good thing to give managers time to turn things round. But it's so blindingly obvious which way it's going under Mourinho. The risk is that by giving him until the end of the season, he might win a cup perhaps, and then Levy will be tempted to give him the start of next season too, and then when that inevitably goes t!ts up, that's next season screwed over as well.
Then again, Levy obviously thinks differently to me considering he appointed Mourinho in the first place, so there we go. I just don't see the point in delaying the inevitable. Stick with Mourinho and that's this season down the toilet, and potentially next season too. Get a new manager in and not only might next season be good, but this season might still be salvageable too.
But it's so blindingly obvious which way it's going under Mourinho
==============
The only saviour for me is that he has got us into a final and a chance for some silverware. That in itself, a massive achievement for his first year in charge, and has the chance to do even better as we are still in all cups and only 4 off the top 4.
Stylewise, he hasn't got many fans but right now, it is possible we could get a trophy under him in his first year and we know how everyone on here were clamouring for a trophy!
Weird, isn't it. That Mourinho could end up *technically* a more successful Spurs manager than Pochettino.
I'd still be shocked and (frankly) appalled if Spurs beat City in the Carabao final though

Success is only contextual. Ramos won more trophies than Redknapp and Poch combined but he wasn't as successful as either of them in my eyes.
I hope we don't get the pro-Jose brigade telling us how much better Jose is than Poch if he does win the League Cup.
