To be fair, this comment seems to work on the opposite basis, that cyclists are always victims.

Why doesn’t everyone just accept that there are ar*ehole cyclists and ar*ehole drivers, ar*ehole pedestrians and ar*ehole van drivers.

Belonging to any given one of those groups doesn’t mean your ar*ehole tastes sweeter.

Oh and if you want to get into it, yes there are arseholes in all forms of transport. The difference is that cyclists and pedestrians aren’t operating a machine that frequently kills people.

I’ve knocked 3 people over in London because they walk out with phones and don’t look. Frustrates the hell out of me as I damage my bike. I don’t care about them. Next one that does it is getting their phone smashed

I don’t wear Lycra and the only weasels are the morons who use their phone when driving. I had a serious accident because a women jumped a stop sign and smashed into me while she was on her phone. I’ve had two operations and taken 2 years to walk properly again

I will continue to smash wing mirrors off cars with people on their phones.

I can understand your frustration but I'm not sure vigilantism is the answer, particularly when those drivers probably have no idea why you've done what you've done?

You'll most likely end up in trouble with the police as well.

Your best bet, if you can be bothered, if to put a camera on your head and then submit the footage to the police. 6 points plus the fine, it won't be long before those idiots are banned.

There's nothing in your post to suggest that the subject of your victim-blaming comment wasn't the same group of people Wahl referred to.
