Typical car driver. Probably watched on your phone whilst driving
Haven't watched it yet but saw the advert for it.
I hate the way those programmes dredge up stuff from the proper militant cyclists who seem to seek out confrontation.
We need to be promoting cycling as a normal thing to do in this country - not something that requires lycra, hi vis and a desire to catch people breaking the law.
That guy from Harlow is a total muppet.

Lol if only I could tell you about the project I am working on at the moment.
I was actually shocked to see so many cockroaches flouting the laws of this land on that show last night, cycling on pavements, cycling across zebra crossings while pedestrians were crossing, cycling through red lights, just no regard at all for the rules of the road
One roach even cycled past 2 policemen on the pavement and they totally ignored it, if that had been a car he would be doing time now
Society needs to clampdown on this lawless menace

Would you rather be passed on a wide pavement by a cyclist cycling at walking pace, or killed by a car?
The police explained their priorities.
I was cycling along a busy road last night and got off at a busy junction and crossed using the pedestrian crossing because it was much safer. Then rejoined the road on the other side of the junction. Not what a car could do but much safer for everyone. It is just common sense until proper provision is in place for cyclists and drivers aren't so angry and murdery all the time.
Rules are rules pal, start ignoring them and you’ll end up with pandemonium
I'd far rather the police focus on people cycling along pavements than try to resolve the violent crimes in London at present.
Wouldn't everyone?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's more to with trying to not die. Why does it concern you if a cyclist would rather cross at a pedestrian crossing rather than risk getting crushed by a lorry turning? In many locations, the junction layout is not safe for cyclists so an alternative, safer route is more favourable for cyclists in order to not die, as being on a bike is very different from being in a car.
Often rules and infrastructure set up for cars are not the safest for cyclists. Therefore a bit of common sense is required.
I understand that a lot of people are not capable of thinking in anything other than black and white, "rules are rules" etc. But this just leads to genocide and people in camps, ultimately.

Well, this particular part was about why more isn't being done to tackle cyclists who break the law.
I'm telling you that it's because the police have to prioritise their resources.
Forget knife crime and consider the deaths caused by motorists. Where would you focus your resource?
Not on pavement cycling, surely.
San Miguel, those with your brain type, in terms of decision making and perceiving the world, are often right wing, military or religious. Do any of those apply to you? Not saying it's negative, just an observation on how you view the world?
I see it more as cyclists trying to deflect from their casual law breaking and trying to steer the focus away from them and onto more serious issues
Trying to bury their crimes with some headline news
The government are very adept at this tactic also
