Van Dijk lol - he’s won a couple of SPLs and a solitary CL - not really at the top level. Lovren would be more worthy... at least he reached a World Cup Final.

Ozil over Silva all day long. Ozil smashed PL records for chances created, assists in consecutive games etc. and he won the World Cup as a PL player (Silva only played 70 mins of Spain’s 2010 campaign).

I’d pick Lloris over DDG - he’s been solid in the PL, helped Spurs move up a level and won the World Cup, whereas DDG embarrassed himself on the biggest stage.

This is a parody account, surely.

Some beautiful trolling here.

Not the most effective but the sheer audacity is surely to be applauded.

These are always tricky because you have to weigh up longevity vs just sheer brilliance

Kante featuring a lot... only 4 of the 6 years?

Carrick's 8 years for me, every time.

two league titles with two teams(who were not by any means the best teams) and just the best midfielder over the last 3-4 years edged it for me

I would put Ivanovic ahead of Azpi at RB, at the top of his game he was much better than Cesar. Additionally, Azpi has barely played at RB - his best form coincided with him being a left back, or as a centre back.

As a rule I'm gonna say you need atleast 200 apps since 09/10, just to make it easier for me

DDG
Azpi Kompany Terry Baines
Toure Carrick Silva
Hazard
Rooney Aguero

Special mention to mousa dembele

Lots of players unlucky to miss out. Rooney being one.

Ageuro and Silva probably the two absolute nailed on for every one I'd imagine.

Fair dos. You probably watched him more than me but I’m of the view that Carrick was propped up by playing alongside better players.

Fair enough but yeh, watched him for years.

I think it's the other way around - he made others look good.

I think his style was so calm and relaxed, people don't realise just how much ground he covered. He reads the game so, so well.

10 years is too big a time period. If you were to make teams from 2010-14 and 2015-19 it'd be a lot easier. However my team would be:

De Gea
Azpilicueta Alderweireld Kompany Cole
Yaya Kante
Silva
Aguero Kane Sterling

2010-14:
Cech
Ivanovic Terry Kompany Cole
Gerrard Yaya Silva
Rooney Van Persie Aguero

2015-19:
De Gea
Azpilicueta Van Dijk Alderweireld Robertson
Kante Matic
De Bruyne Silva
Aguero Kane

4-2-3-1 would need to be the formation. Took off in the 2010 WC and only Conte's influence really disrupted it.

Defense same as yours. LB is tough, I'm tempted to cheat and put Azpl at LB with either Brana/Valencia/Walker at RB.

The pivot has to be Kante & Toure. What an unstoppable two man midfield combination that would've been. If you'd wanna swap out one of them for a playmaker, Modric (possession) or Fabregas (direct).

The AM trident is tricky, spoilt for choice. If you want inside forwards on the left it's Hazard or Sanchez, if you want a winger it's Bale. If you want an inside forward on the right it's Salah, if you want wingers it's Sterling or Mane. If you want a no.10 who orchestrates the play it's Silva, if you want one to spray passes everywhere it's Mata. So many different combinations, all of which would probably dominate the game.

Upfront it's gotta be Aguero on longevity alone. If he wasn't as good and consistent as he is you'd have to give it to Suarez with Kane being a solid 3rd option.
