Forgot about Fernandinho. He has to be in ahead of Kante in fairness
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What?
Kante won a title with Leicester, a 5000-1 team.
He won the World Cup.
Fernandinho scored an O.G in the WC QF vs Belgium that cost Brazil a spot in the SF.

What has the world cup for to do with it.
I'm a Chelsea fan, and personally I would have Fernandinho ahead of Kante.
Heck, I would probably even consider Carrick over Kante
Fernandinho over Kante is a joke. Kante won player of the year which Fernandinho never did and was a key reason Lester won the league, something Fernandinho wouldn’t have been able to do. Yeah he has two less years in the league than Fernandinho, but only one of those years was good and that year still is nothing compared to Kante’s best.

Nah, he only really found himself at City when Pep turned up, which syncs in with Kante's appearance in the PL. He was OK in Pellegrini's 442 but Kante would've been better.
Definitely one for the 10's team bench though

*2015-19:
De Gea
Azpilicueta Van Dijk Alderweireld Robertson
Kante
De Bruyne Silva Sterling
Aguero Kane
Forgot Sterling
----------------------------------------------------------------------
de bruyne has no chance of being in any team. Guy had one very good year and thats about it, injuries have hindered him massively.

Fernandinho’s been consistently good since he signed for City IMO. I’m not sure you can have a team of the decade without him in it tbh, although Kante drives him close.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
tbf he should have only played half the games he has if referees actually booked him for his fouls
Fernandinho was a better box-to-box than Toure for a good few months...yes I understand the age difference.
cant knock pep because city have been hugely successful but toure has kind of wasted the last 3 or so years of his career. Could have gone down as an all time great
He had some of his best form under Pep though...maybe he wasn't influencing the game goals wise but he was playing exceptional football for that short period of time.
but pep was the one that eventually just dropped him wasn't he? can't remember the ins and outs. But hes play 2 games in the last 2 years.
Yeah Pep just doesn't like him the egotistical

On longevity perhaps but Kante's been far too good with only a two year deficit. Fernandinho gets bonus points for versatility, can play either role in a two man midfield/the anchor of a three, which is why he's perfect for the bench.
Although he'd never get in on merit, I'd have Milner on my best 10's team bench for the same reason. The f***er can play anywhere

Yeah Kante does drive him pretty close. I would mostly put Fernandinho ahead because he has more to his game, although, I don't think we've seen Kante peak yet.
Surprised Bale hasn't made too many lists. His form during the 13/14 season was insane, much better than anything we've seen from De Bruyne or Mane
