I don't think the crowd booing Smith helps at all. If anything it spurs Smith on even more!

I'll give him the first 2 innings at edgbaston, they were great knocks especially 1st innings which I saw live but that innings was very streaky, no real out chances but not a lot of great shots. Good riddance, very slim hope now if England polish them off quick

England two front line bowlers have been too inconsistent. Woakes slightly made up for it with that smith over. Why archer has bowled so many and not used correctly.

Aussies are ridiculously a 1 man team in england its depressing.

Woakes gets the last laugh. He got him in the last test also, becoming his bunny.

Isn't Archer seen as one of the two front line bowlers? Broad and Woakes have both done okay though. Everyone in the side has kept it tight which has been important. In the last game the Aussies scored at like 4.5 an over too easily.

Broad and woakes should be front line bowlers.

Archer is the 1st change bowler who adds the pace and variation. Broad and woakes havent hit the areas enough. Fair play to the aussies though who have a more gutsy tail

Archer opened the bowling though but I get your point. Anyway, let's get him back on bowling toe crushing yorkers at these tail enders and wrap things up.

Yeah that's what I mean using archer all wrong bowled a long spell where they got a good look at him now he needs to come on to these tail enders and mix it up for a couple of overs.
