I said it's no surprise that an army grunt doesn't like Corbyn.

That isn't what you said you lying little weasel.

This is what you said

'You were in the army though so it's little surprise you don't like Corbyn.

On the 'project fear' stuff:

1) Predictions aren't the same as lies. An example of a lie is Boris Johnson in his journalistic days fabricating amusing negative stories about Brussels to delight his Telegraph readers. Or leading Leave campaigners pointing at Norway as a fine example of how we could prosper outside the EU, before claiming that following the Norway model wouldn't be Brexit and denying they had ever said it.

2) It's notable that the long-term, committed Leave figures who have actually participated in May's government's attempts to enact Brexit have been much more circumspect about No Deal and grown increasingly cautious about WTO claims as they have had to engage with the concrete issues and realities of the situation. It's the people who have had the luxury of grandstanding from the sides who make breezy generalisations about how easy it will be and how minor the impacts will be. If I were a Brexiteer, I'd be inclined to trust the likes of Gove and Fox way more than bombastic chancers like Johnson and JRM.

More than a million SCots voted for Brexit. That's more than the number of people who voted for the SNP.

If people of Scotland are forced to choose between Britain and the EU, majority will still choose Britain over the EU.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure on that, time will tell and I'd imagine another indy ref will happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You do realise that The Brexit referendum was a binary choice whereas you have many other options in a Scottish Election?

The harsher the Brexit with BoJo as leader is the perfect recipe for Scots to vote independence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But why will they vote for independence?

Majority of Scottish trade is with the UK. Only about 12% is with the EU.
Also, do you think that the retirees in Scotland would trust the SNP with their pension? They have already run down almost all aspects of the economy with their socialist tax rate (including the recently introduced car park tax). Most Scots can't wait till 2021 in order to vote them out.

In who's interest is a GE?

The people who would do anything to avoid leaving without a deal. And if that means taking down their own party, so be it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Push comes to shove I just can't see it.

Plus, what's the alternative? Equally as dreadful.

Yeah no one who is not starving now is gonna be starving because of brexit. Don’t get why there is also this doom talk. It’s a minor issue. We ain’t gonna become a 3rd world country. Nothing much will change at all. At worst few pence more on a can of coke. Relax
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But if many goods and services gp up even a little, but wages dont increase, you see a problem here i assume?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

People will just have to spend more of their money on essentials like food, and less on frivolous things like iPhones and smart TV's.

It's crazy that we send £350m a week to the EU. There are much better things that we could use that on, like the NHS. I am glad that we now have an honest man in charge and we can finally sort this mess out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

says Big Dave from Barnsley who has had his job taken away from him by Georgi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I always read abou this issue of job losses.
Please can you expand on how you think Dave will lose his job just because of Brexit?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you been living under a rock?

The entire JiT (manufacturing) industry relies on full regulatory and customs alignment with it's supply chain partners throughout Europe.

Take the UK out of the two regimes (SM & CU) which underpin this ecosystem and (as they have been doing for the last two years) EU counterparts have removed UK businesses (in place of EU ones) from their supply chains.

That's one scenario.
How about the opposite? Goods & services coming down plus wage increases (more likely due to tariff removal by the UK govt and immigration control)

It's worth remembering that Labour were planning severe austerity had they won the 2010 election and that Mr Jeremy Corbyn stood for election for a party promising this.

So obstacle to JIT would mean job losses?
If as at today, a CEO has not altered their lead time, that CEO should be fired.
Today, many companies use parts from other non EU countries for JIT production without any problem.
They can simply apply that model to the EU when we leave and carry on business as usual.

The fact is people will be okay. Those who have jobs and work hard will be okay. Calm down. Your life will be fine too. Hopefully tax reductions for those who work hard too and that will ease things for hard working successful people
