Mancini, you left out the freedom to eat chlorinated chicken and throwing off the chains of having the power to resist corporate control of our healthcare system.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you been to the States? Did you eat their chicken?
And how about your tap water? must have poisoned you badly these many years becuase it contains chlorine as well.
You just regurgitate what you hear politicians say without doing any basic research of your own.
Next you will tell us how Boris plans to sell the NHS.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mancini, the USA has less stringent standards in food safety, environmental regulations, etc. No one is saying you eat American food and drop dead. What I will say is that very few people will vote to reduce our standards, not least because they look at the level of nutrition and public health in the States and see things are better under EU regulations. In a post-Brexit scenario though, we'll be under immense pressure to conclude a trade deal with the USA, and this will require shared regulatory rules, just as we currently have with the EU. The difference is that UK voters have an influence over EU regulations, through our government's seat in the Council of Ministers and our direct election of MEPs to the European parliament; regulations can be amended in time due through this combination of direct and indirect democratic input. By contrast, in a bilateral trade deal the larger party gets to largely dictate terms to the smaller one, and the US will want access to key markets like food and healthcare; why would such a deal be valuable to the States unless it meant breaking down barriers such as food standards and the NHS's ability to use its centralised procurement to reduce drug prices? Once concluded, our parliament can't legislate to protect our markets (so much for sovereignty, eh?).
If you dig around enough, you find that a lot of the leading patriotic Brexiteers (like Fox and Patel) have been fairly open about what drove their anti-EU agenda from the start: it is all about enabling radical deregulation of the economy and realignment with the USA. That's actually a respectable intellectual position to take up, if you want to defend it. However, it's not the main argument the Leave campaigns made during the referendum debates, because it doesn't imply reducing immigration or 'taking back control', which proved to be the most significant vote winners. Radical deregulation is unpopular with the voters and if this agenda succeeds, the backlash will be fierce.

There is no real way to make everyone happy. I believe in low taxes and keeping more of what you earn. So I will always be for that.
I did vote remain but it’s quite obvious we are leaving and likely with no deal and all you can do is get on with it. Unfortunately some people will suffer more than others but this is life and the best help I can think of is individual charity which is what I believe in.

And the people in government who have been grappling with Brexit for the last three years have told us that No Deal has to be avoided at all costs and that May's deal was the best they could manage while trying to meet the hard Brexit demands of their party base. Meanwhile, the projections of civil servants - 'the clever people in government' who have been working on the detail and crunching the numbers are dismissed as 'defeatists' and 'Europhiles' by Brexit ideologues.

Exactly right. Removing no deal and a movable deadline just shows us as being weak and desperate for a deal, which is exactly why the EU will not budge one inch.
Even if Boris doesnt 100% mean we'll leave on 31st Oct, you have to make that stand, you have to threaten it to total surety. He has the crazy sort of personality that makes you believe he will go through with it, which may see some compromise from the EU.

And in the opposite corner we have Jeremy Corbyn, these are the politicians that we deserve. People that put the party before it’s country time and time again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Someone with an outstanding record of human rights, anti-racism and anti-war activism? Someone who has repeatedly spoken out against the concentrations of private wealth and capital, breaking up the corporate media, championing the causes of ordinary people and opposing other systemic injustices? Someone who has consistently opposed the UK's blood-soaked regime change wars, arms deals and anti-democratic foreign policy? Yes please. Such an opportunity rarely occurs in any country - especially powerful countries like the UK - which is exactly why there's been an enormous, relentless backlash designed to destroy the movement behind him from the Blairites, Tories, media, Civil Service & MOD, in one form or another.
To even compare him and his record to the likes of Johnson and the other careerist, elitist, warmongering, neoliberal, pro-austerity, pro-deregulation, pro-privatisation, status quo loving parliamentarians says everything about how good of a number our media class have done on the population's collective understanding of the issues we face and who will best represent the population.
Of course, if anyone believes the garbage aimed at Corbyn already, then it's probably too late for you. Studies consistently show that humans are terrible at changing their minds, even when presented with overwhelming evidence that to do so would be in their financial interests! (See work by Palminteri for eg).

It was a massive swing despite a huge media campaign to denigrate him. It is that. The media is hugely powerful and oddly enough most papers are run by Tory donors.
Take Corbyn being pictured with IR A members years ago.
He's a fvcking pascifist ffs
The anti smite stuff is equally laughable but morons lap it up and don't vote.
