Johnson wants a December 12th Election.
But will Jezza allow it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Should be no election until Brexit is done. Certainly wouldn't be giving Johnson anything.

That it is got a -45 is all down to Johnson, should not have thrown his toys out of the pram and sacked 22 MPs. Not the Labour Party`s fault, he is such an idiot. Just let him stew.
Johnson didn`t want an Election a while back, now all of a sudden he wants one. He is everything that is wrong with Politics, he is just an opportunist, and couldn`t care less about the country.
He should also be careful for what he wishes for, Tories will be wiped out in Scotland, thus giving them a bigger mandate to break up the UK, will lose lots of seats to LibDems, the Tory vote will be split also with the Brexit Party, so it may not be as clear cut as he thinks it will.
Don`t be surprised if he gets egg on his face.

Why do Labour not want an election, now we have a deal agreed with the EU, that passed the second reading so can get parl onside, no deal is blocked and time is there to scrutin8ze the bill?

Brexit had become an incredible bore. People's vote, delay, no deal, remain, blah, blah, blah.
Corbyn should accept and state he will revoke article 50, so the election acts as a second referendum and we can move the feck on.

If Corbyn thought that your predictions for what would happen a GE were true he would happily get it on.
Problem he's got is he's in an alliance with two parties who will make gains when it finally occurs so they won't wait forever.
Those who dislike Boris may enjoy him leading an impotent government but its a disaster for the country. As I said on the politics thread the other day when the party/parties in power have a majority of less than one a GE should automatically be triggered.

Amusing how the Tories suddenly say they want a GE to sort out all the problems in the country, when they have created all the same problems over nine years of crap Government. The people's friend is one thing they ain't.

Johnson wants a December 12th Election.
But will Jezza allow it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Should be no election until Brexit is done. Certainly wouldn't be giving Johnson anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think both parties are split on when the election should be, what a mess, it’s like living in purgatory!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Johnson cannot do a thing as it stands, so leave as is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed - maybe get Kenneth Clarke to propose an amendment on Monday to only allow the election when Brexit Bill has been passed, for 16 year olds to be able to Vote and for Bercow to delay his retirement as long as Johnson is PM

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not a bad idea.

Why do Labour not go for Bojo and stop brexit via Election?
Then, you get jezza in number 10, no brexit and utopia lol?
And keep the dup sweet.😍

Yes.
Then they saw the polls with jezza in charge and used some good and bad excuses to bottle it.
No deal fear by Halloween....gone.
No deal in place...gone.
No extension to scrutinize...gone.
Now it's too dark or near Christmas lol

If Corbyn thought that your predictions for what would happen a GE were true he would happily get it on.
Problem he's got is he's in an alliance with two parties who will make gains when it finally occurs so they won't wait forever.
Those who dislike Boris may enjoy him leading an impotent government but its a disaster for the country. As I said on the politics thread the other day when the party/parties in power have a majority of less than one a GE should automatically be triggered.
