He has played there numerous times before and actually hasn't done that bad

A little frustrating he’s gone for Jones over Tuanzebe but maybe he feels he wants a bit of experience?

Don’t really see us creating much.

I feel confident, even without McTom in the midfield. Jones needs to step up and earn his paycheck today. Williams starting!

Good to see Williams starting. We’ll keep a clean sheet purely because he’s on my fantasy football team’s bench!

Assume Jones is preferred to Tuanzebe because Tuanzebe has just come back from injury?

Only reason I think it WONT be 343 is that normally when we play that you play a narrow 2 up top and a andreas/mata/lingard in behind. Who will that be that here? Rashford? I think it will be our usual 4321 with jone in midfield.

James and Rashford looking sharp in the international break and Martial playing well before hand. I think if the 7 behind can stay solid we should get a result

On our site it did mention "Phil Jones replacing the injured Scott McTominay" so that seems to be the idea. He owes us a good performance.

A tactical plan by Ole to nullify the opponent in an away fixture. Sheffield's wingbacks to be limited in movement. I do not see us creating too many chances though - I may be wrong here since we have 3 on form forwards

Anyone who knows Oles tactical intention this year knows this is a purified distillation of it. A front three pressing all day and hovering to counter attack if and when the opposition loses the ball. The only worry is the midfield. I expect a sub for tuanzebe coming in there to stabilize it later in the game, either for a striker if we are trying to defend a lead or for a defender if we are chasing (which is a strong likelihood)

We need midfielders.

It’s the right approach given the midfield options IMO.

He played on the pre-season tour but only has made a couple of cup appearances - but he's done alright when on the pitch. No Phil Jones moments in his few minutes.

Is it? Shef Utd are awful going forward. I’d have gone with 4 at the back and another attacking mid such as Mata personally
