Tony was a very good player for our club. He was Mr. reliable I'm sorry to hear of his demise. RIP Tony.

Another one to add to Pasty's list is should leagues 1 & 2 also split from the EFL. The EFL isn't fit for purpose and it could definitely be run better. Do we need an independent entity to be fair and balanced when running football leagues, or can it be done on similar lines as the Premiership? Could we generate enough cash to make it viable? Questions that would need answering plus, I have no doubt, a plethora of other questions.

Bolton Wanderers Football Club acknowledges the statement issued by the EFL in reference to the curtailment of the Sky Bet League One campaign and that this results in the Club being relegated to League Two.

The Club will issue a detailed response in the coming days.

In the meantime, we would like to thank our supporters, staff and all other stakeholders for the incredible patience and support they have shown to the club since lockdown commenced in March.

So do we add to the Bolton University Stadium to the shopping centre, and create income, by leasing it, and the car park, pay Eddie Davies back, try and find a smaller ground,

Seems a bit weird to be relegated this way. A month later than expected but the season likely to start September so the same break. No crowds and watch on ifollow? Allow crowds with restrictions? Social distancing in the Reebok every other seat empty cap at 12000. I've had an entire row to myself sometimes. Proper social distancing that. Probably safer than going to asda. I was there after work and no one was keeping their 2 meters apart. Let the dust settle and do the summer thread?

2 seasons on the trot not played all our fixtures. If you would have said that last summer.

Benny did you see any players on the reduced and two for one shelves on that trip to Asda.
The powers that be at BL6 are preparing a couple of briefings can you guess what they will say ? I'm thinking it won't be long before we hear of another blank canvass.
The Breakaway could become reality to throw a spanner in the works no surprise there as the Championship carries so much more weight and money compared to two leagues below. We need out of the fourth tier given time it could easily become a three tier system.

If only we had a cow ready for market there's a bloke there willing to trade for some magic beans.

The coming statements could throw more than one wobbly into the air and probably will.

First, we know that an announcement of a change at the top is coming. How far up the ladder will it go? Could Emma decide the job isn't for her and her future lies in another area? Or, is Tobias or the young Mr Gartside going to have a change in position or will one or both be ordering a taxi? Could it involve The former Man United supremo? Come to think of it we haven't heard a lot about him for a while.

Will we have a new management team on the pitch or will we be saddled with KH and his sidekick? Is it conceivable that the stadium will be sold? I think not because as far as I can ascertain, isn't it protected as a Sports Stadium? I think the Supporters Trust engineered that so that he who can not be named could not dispose of it to feather his own nest. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There is so much that could happen but I suppose that all we can do until FV issue its statement or statements, is speculate.

It would be interesting to read what others think and see who make the suggestions nearest to reality.

Speculation on Rowan Darcy staying at the UniBol in the Beano. I will believe it if and when it happens. The claim is that it will happen at the end of the month, so not long to go before we get a definitive answer. Obviously, I hope that he signs.

No news yet on changes within the EFL rules or plans. If past communications are anything to go by, we may be waiting for quite some time before we have something to talk about.

Shame about emma leaving. Briefly met her, like sharon brittan came across as very enthusiastic, just what the club needed at the time. That was early this season though and a lot of things have happened since. Her father died maybe that affected her. Shame really.

So we may have another Gartside in the hot seat. Apparently he did a sterling job during the takeover so he will be judged on his performance, not on his fathers last couple of years.

Just waiting for the decision on the Bolton two. I think we can start to speculate on who the new manager will be. Or maybe you don't have a preference at this point. I'm sure that there will be a few names to put into the hat when clubs start to advise their current managers that their services are no longer required.

Does anyone know who may be already available? I think Tobias will have a few names in mind and may already have held primary discussions with one or two targets. That would be the smart thing to do.

Thing is League 2 is probably the best division for Keith and David.

Though I fully expect them not to have their contracts renewed.
