Souness was probably blanked by Pogba at some event or lost him a bet or something. Absolutely no reason to continually attack him like he does, it's so blatant that even or pundits have called Souness out on it.
It’s rather simple. If you hate Liverpool or under the age of 35 then some of you will rate Pogba higher than Souness. No doubt the dabs and the hashtags will have impressed you too.
If you have a healthy knowledge of the game and are slightly older then you’ll know that Souness was one of the finest midfield generals in the game winning the games top honours.
Pogba has been a bit of a disaster signing in many respects.
Given his reputation and price tag, he should be held to account over his form.

I think Souness has an unhealthy obsession with the attitude of the modern footballer and anyone who doesn't show an iron will to win.
Souness was a fantastic player but I do find him increasingly cringe-worthy as a pundit, not so much when speaking tactically about a game but when speaking about individual players.
I do wonder whether there's a bit of dog-whistle racism here as well.
