Coutinho is great at pressing.
Barkley in the way out I guess or Pulisic taking the right hand side in the squad places.
From what ive seen though he doesnt press to the level Mount does but is a lot more skilled and experienced obviously
Mount is pretty relentless and has younger legs
Kind of gets in Rubens way of coming back too
Id assume Barkley is definitely on the way out then yeah

Yeah squad game innit and tbh I dont think Mount is ready for 50 games a season at Chelsea.
CHO can play on the right, Coutinho left and centre. Pulisic too. Great choices.
Long story short it's a great option for Chelsea. A quality player who can play different systems and having a guy who can hit one from range out of nothing every 4 games never hurts and I dont think Chelsea have that really atm.
He's great to watch when he's on it too.
Oh yeah he's a quality player
But we probably are more in need of a CB at this sort of level than an attacking player
Can't wait for him to be suddenly rated by Chelsea fans and others.
Finally Coutinho is gonna be world class now.
Stern competition for Mount i expect and might cost him some time in the first team.

“Some” time? Mount can furrrrk the hell off back to the championship if we sign Coutinho 😂

Maybe but one things for sure he won't be ranked up there with Messi like Joe Cole was when he joined Liverpool.

Any thing to add Scouze?
Mount is absolute mince compared to Coutinho.
You’ll will see this if he signs and football ever starts back up again.

*Knock knock*
“We’re here to tell you how amazing a player Coutinho is”

They're not wrong are they.
Coutinho is better than Hudson Odoi Mount Barkley JOrginho and Kovacic put together.

I don't rate Coutinho highly.
It's the opposite, those players are all garbage.

This already reminds me of when we had Rafa and Liverpool fans suddenly loved to praise us (or Rafa) when we were playing well and any criticism of Rafa they descended like a pack of wolves to tell Chelsea fans they were wrong.
On Coutinho, he’s a player I never used to rate that highly until his last 18 months at Liverpool. Only then, for me, did he start developing consistency both game to game and within the 90 minutes as well (before then i’d find he had great moments of quality in games but almost disappear inbetween).
I wouldn’t be against the signing, but there are some question marks. He basically almost fulfils a similar role that Ziyech brings. I think having both we then have a slight headache on how to fit both into the side, compounded by also continuing to assimilate players like CHO, Mount and RLC (if this is still a priority for us). But then again if we do have a first XI that brings the best out of Ziyech and Coutinho..it’ll be very strong.
It’s a signing slightly against our recent ethos but at a relatively cheap price for his quality and as he’s still just 27 (turning 28) I’d be more for than against

remember when they did the same with Rafa
With Ziyech coming it would be two wingers who like to come inside and take a ridiculous amount of poor quality shots.
Would probably break Abraham’s heart, would be a pointless signing much like he was for Barca.
