Don't why people think getting 22 players on a pitch is going to be so unsafe. People do realise that factories with hundreds of people are operating all over the country with masks and the farcical 'keep your distance' idea in place and nothing else but yet quarantining a squad and shuttling them to a stadium is high risk?!?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are the Corners and Free Kicks in and around the Penalty Area like at the factory?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You think factory workers are not going near each other? As for corners and freekicks, if the players are quarantined then tested how are they catching the virus? The virus is shat but it isn't magic.

I was taken by Ambulance to hospital with suspected Covid-19, when we arrived the specialist came into the Ambulance to treat me, he said "It is too early in the cycle to test you, we cannot guarantee an accurate result, around 3% of people who test negative go on within 7 days to test positive even though they have self-isolated. I don't want to take you inside because uf you don't have it now you certainly will by the time you come out"
I was in the Ambulance for 5 hours before tgey took me home.
5 days later I was positive.

240 people at a Behind Closed Doors game means even if EVERYONE tested negative, seven people could be positive.

It is an absolute non-starter

If it was a non-starter then they wouldn't be considering it. Let's just see what happens.

It is only being considered to preserve TV money. Nothing more. It's not about the game, the sport, the "integrity" of the league...

It's about saying "we did everything we could. Now, can we have the next tranche of money please"

Ah cool, didn't know you had hacked into the Premier League zoom meeting.

First off diagnosis is based on more than just the test. They also examine symptoms, potential exposure history, imaging and other lab work.

Basically, you have the players together in a controlled environment for some weeks while observing rules of social distancing etc. They are on observation, not just testing alone. From there you can control exposure throughout etc.

If anyone has Covid, within 7 days the test will show that, according your post. By the end of the 2nd week you have a clean group which can be kept clean through controlling exposure and regular testing.

There are many different tests available and some are now using three of the tests to test each sample where possible.

Dude, so you have 240 people tested and it just so happens all the 7 who have Covid do not react to the test? That's more like a scene from Rick and Morty. Impossible scenario.

These 240 people have come on their own, they're not a group. After testing, social distancing will continue and they will not spread it if the distancing is observed well. In 14 days of quarantine and testing you have a clean group which you keep clean by regular testing and control of exposure.

I'm no medical expert, my explanation may be wanting but that's how isolation and quarantine works as told by a layman.

Of those 240 people, some will be Stewards, Ballboys, Car Park Attendants...

Are you saying they won't go home in between games? They too will be isolated in the Hotel with the Players?

You are not thinking about the reality, it is just wishful thinking.

Not during a Covid pandemic.

They will even have the stadiums zoned and one zone won't come in contact with the other.

Ultimately, the plan may fail but if a nobody on JA606 can isolate a problem do you think the game runners haven't though of it? You think you're some genius guru who can see what others cannot? You're not saying anything we haven't heard before.

All these little scenarios of yours have been considered and still they proceed, which means they feel the obstacles can be overcome.

Not one played behind closed doors in these situations. I what world do stewards or ball boys need to be near anyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The real one.

Who opens the doors and let's the players in?
Who prevents idiotic fans gathering outside the entrance from getting near the players?
Who marshals where individuals can and cannot go insude the players' changing areas?
Who tells the Ballboys where they can and cannot go?
Who do the Ballboys return the ball to?

I'm sorry I don't want to fall out but you are living in a dream world.

Seriously

There will be no ballboys and no one but players and management in the changing room. Players will prepare their own kit.

As for doors, they could try installing those slide doors which open automatically as you get close

Can understand the will some Liverpool fans have to finish the season (to avoid ‘tainted or unfinished’ title jibes), but it’s not worth the risk. It’s simply very unimportant.

Liverpool should be awarded title and the season terminated as is.

Forget Liverpool for a moment. What happens to the football pyramid if no football is played for umpteen months, maybe a year or two even?

You haven't realised that we have no choice but to play behind closed doors at some point, whether people like it or not. It doesnt matter which season, when football returns it has to be behind closed doors so this plan better work or it's time to go home and wait to see which clubs manage to avoid folding for the longest time.

Who do you think will outlast the rest if football cannot be played for 18 months?

Dear me.

Of course there won't be Ballboys in the Players' changing area.

But they will be returning the ball to the players, from empty stands?

That can be dealt with a little later on when restrictions are lifted somewhat. There is no need to finish this season, football is not a priority

The plan as it is now is for there to be no ball boys at all.
