I'm shocked that TOOR has a Liverpool player at number one.

There are only three positions I would have a Liverpool player at number one. RB, CM and CB.

Yeah I would contribute but normally if I did, I'd just go on what I heard and wouldn't include any modern players in, perhaps Messi and Ronaldo, at a push. It wouldn't exactly be accurate. Not like Gerrard in the top three of the last twenty years.

Difficult to imagine Charlton being better than Gerrard in central midfield but again that's why I can't do the list as I've only seen a small amount of footage. Seen loads of footage of Best so I would put him in. Pele, I'm not so sure since he only played in Brazil? Can't argue with the others but again mostly based on small amounts of footage.

That is Cafu for me. He was unbelievable the way he got up and down, constantly the whole game.

However that's not to say TAA won't surpass him, he's certainly on the way to doing that.

He's certainly in with a shout. I rate him highly. Although it did always feel like he was a centre back, playing right back, particular on the ball, which he was great moving with but not great using it.

Nah. I wouldn't put a player who has played only a few seasons as top three of all time. The PL I do it as probably the best right back of the PL era is Gary Neville, before TAA came along.

I said it before but I used to laugh at the idea that Neville was the best PL right back ever until somebody ask me to name a better one. I couldn't, so I do think it is probably the weakest position of the PL era and therefore a couple of world class seasons from a young full back is enough to be called the best right back of the PL era. I don't remember any other right back being nominated for the worlds best player and getting in UEFA's team of the year.

So it's acceptable to say that TAA is the best right back from the last 30 years but not the last 90 years, because of seasons played?

Work that one out if you can...
