I think Sancho initially played a fair bit on the right for Dortmund, but has gradually moved more into the left wing role.
Whether that is because the manager sees it as his strongest position or it simply suits the squad better, I don't know.
This is the sort of important thing our scouts should be capable of assessing.

I don't see where he fits in at United. He plays on the left where Rashford plays. Meaning one of them will have to play out of position. I've seen much more of Rashford playing on the right, and it does take a lot away from his game but for me it takes more away from Sancho's, although I have only seen him play on the right for England.

Seems like the perfect signing really. RW's been a problem position for so long now (he can play on the left too).
As said above though, i'll believe it when i see it. Maybe having the likes of Rashy and Greenywood here will help with the decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From watching Sancho recently he never seems to play from the right. He’s been coming off the bench a lot and playing on the left and on Saturday he started in sort of a false front 2 but mainly drifted to the left again.
There’s a difference between can play right wing and favours playing there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's played mostly on the right according to most websites. I've not watched him every week or anything mind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve watched him probably 5-10 this season and it’s almost always been the left.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's genuinely weird as I've alwaysseen him on the right. Whoscored and transfermarket have him mostly right over the past two seasons.
Bit moot though as he can clearly play both which just means more options and greater flexibility with systems.

Hudson-Odoi has been pathetic don't understand why people think having him would stop Chelsea going for Sancho.
I like CHO too.
Looking at a stretch inside though if found guilty. Appatently another Prem player arrested with him but don't know who.
If Sancho is anything near as good as everyone says and worth the money being quoted then he will have no problems playing on either side. If you don't believe that then you should stop holding him to such high regard.
We need to build a top squad that can play multiple formations. There'll be plenty of games for Greenwood, Sancho, Martial and Rashford. Mata, Lingard and Andreas have sometimes played false 9, #10 and RW positions, but I doubt you'll see them play any of those positions next season if Sancho or an alternative is bought. that would free up a lot of game time.

Hudson-Odoi has been pathetic don't understand why people think having him would stop Chelsea going for Sancho.

The guy is 19 and has shown potential. He needs games.
