He’s bored, will be his last season at the club next year and he’ll have another break after suffering some form of stress.

Shiiiiit defence, not taking their chances. I don’t know why people have them as favourites for the CL with how vulnerable they are at the back. I wouldn’t be surprised if Madrid knock them out.

Defence is a shambles

Although if Laporte didn’t suffer that injury you’d wonder how good or bad their defending would’ve been too.

To be honest majority of City losses have come where defensively they’ve lost concentration, probably due to complacency. After winning so much that hunger goes, City didn’t have enough this season and Liverpool had far too much

He made a mistake in the summer not replacing Kompany.

Weird really, has one of the best defensive mids around in Fernandinho, but spends big on another defensive mid so he can drop Fernandinho into central defence because they actually need to replace their starting centre half who just left.

That was a major balls up imo

Sorry but how much have they spent on the defence, almost as much as us, just sub par players for the money spent again lile us

Quite a few reasons.

Not replacing kompany, which wouldn’t have mattered that much had we not then lost Laporte. Sterling and Bernardo going well off the pace and not having Sane there to fill in for them. Moving Fernandinho to defence and relying on Rodri to get up to speed too quickly and Gundogan. Giving Silva a few too many games as part of his swan song. In some of those games, some bad luck with decisions at crucial times as well.

On top of all of that, we didn’t refresh enough to keep it going for three seasons straight. If we can win the fa cup or the CL, then it’s still a very good season though and we’re well set to go again next year with a couple of tweaks. Nothing that major needed still.

Didn’t pep also spend 18 mil on Angelino only to send him out on loan in January again?

No he cost five million. Guardiola doesn’t have accountability for transfers though, that’s Begiristain

Amazing that we beat Chelsea and Man City 3 times this season and quite comfortably.

Mendy, Angelino, Danilo, Cancelo, Stones, Walker, Laporte
Over 200m on defenders

Laporte was bought to replace Kompany.

His injury cost City dearly as Stones isn't good enough to step in.

Boris VAR has screwed us over this season and bad finishing as well as poor goalkeeping. We are 37 points behind Liverpool despite having nearly identical shots for and against.

Also near the same expected goals for and against and expected points as well as VAR.

Honestly think there is a scandal of corruption with VAR this season. I honestly felt like doing a youtube video of all the big wrong decisions VAR has got wrong this season but it must be in the 100's now.

I think we’re top of the table for VAR decisions going our way. Hafi, what’s going on son?
