Unfortunately it was another knee jerk reaction from Levy in signing Jose, no thought at all went into it, Mourinho in his ear needed a job, rather wanted back in and the money, so stuck now god help us, will not end in glory that's for sure

17 players sacked on day 1.
Sandy seems hellbent on blaming the players. The same players, in fact, that he refused to blame just a few short months ago. Why was it Poch's fault then but the players fault now? You twisting things to suit your own narrative.

They are all Pochettino`s players, or most of them. They have had five years, won nothing. Need to move on now. Nothing lasts forever. Mass clearout needed.

If that's the case then I vote Sandy
Give Jose another year, sign what we need but make sure they're young promising players and not just experienced lumps that jose wants
Jose can probably get us top 4, we can bin him off after that before it goes all tiiiits up like United should have done
Can then bring in a proper long term manager who can rebuild and get the squad playing good football whilst still having champions league
This would have been the best case scenario to me but I dont even know if we can count on jose for a solid year, what he said after the game about how he didnt think we would win at half time and basically called out all the players publically for being soft was shocking and it seems like he's trying to see how quickly he can get the dressing room to turn on him
Can't believe the amount of damage poch did to this club
I mean leaving poor Jose with a champions league finalist squad with the the additions of two hugely talented ball playing midfielders.
Ridiculous to think any manager could achieve anything with this squad.
We should be grateful he's kept us up.
Pleat til the end of the season

I must have seen a different post match interview then, as I thought he said the right things. Doesn't mean I forgive him or even want to keep him but is interview was fair. Said he didn't want to blame the disallowed goal and that the performance was not good when we had no inspiration 20 yards from goal and defending was poor.

I genuinely don't think that's the case. Wolves have a better setup by far in terms of moving up as a club. Richer owners who are also less tight, excellent scouts and the entire client base of a mega-agent to pick from. Plus all the upward momentum in the world. Nuno can hand-pick players who fit his system to a T.
The only thing Spurs have at the moment is a bigger ground and a shinier training ground. I'd back Wolves to become a regular fixture in the CL with Nuno at the helm, more than I would Spurs if Nuno took over with all the restraints Levy imposes.

That’s so damming on his own half time team talk. If he felt that but couldn’t get the players focused and up for it that means he’s not right for this job
I should add: Wolves are my family club. I MASSIVELY rate Nuno as a manager.
That said, he's devoted to 3 at the back with pacey wing backs - he'd have a terrible time implementing that at Spurs, considering he'd need four new wing backs and Levy hates spending money.
Sandy, those are not strictly Poch's players. The days when clubs sign players the manager demands are long gone. The club signed the players with little input from the manager. The only difference is the Poch got them to play to their maximum. Jose can't get close.
This is what gets me. Poch made those players what they were. Somewhere along the line people forget that and assume he's not doing enough with a brilliant squad. I'd argue he squeezed more out of them then any other manager could and made them greater than the sum of their parts.
Jose got one flukey win (and yes, it was flukey) for Porto in the CL and since then he's relied hugely on the kind of funds that make you expect victory. The man is a charlatan and the football itself is atrocious.
Sandy, as a man that grew up watching the Bill Nicholson teams I'd have assumed you'd have an issue with the current style, let alone the fact we're not winning. You've forgotten those great words...
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
