I’m talking about taking any one of the top two forwards out, but if you want to play that game and take Mane and Salah out of the Liverpool side vs Aguero and Sterling or Werner and Havertz, I’d choose City or Chelsea’s attacks over Liverpool’s by even wider margins.

Ignore that, they scored one more than us. Huge difference.

But we scored more in all comps.
There's nothing more for me to say really. I've made my point, you seem to disagree, but I know you wouldn't disagree if I was talking about Harry Kane scoring 12 goals in 52 games in a season.
No one would give a sh!t if Spurs scored 85 goals amd walked the league.

If that happens Firmino still had a poor season even if you don't care. That's the fact.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
the fact is you don't watch games, only read stats. not someone that can be taken seriously.
It doesn't matter if no one gives a sh!t, it's still the reality.
I'm amazed that there is supposedly no link between Liverpool's main striker have a bad season and Liverpool trying to sign a top striker. I guess it must all just be a coincidence.
I’d be surprised if we didn’t win the league next season tbh
1, Chelsea
2, City
3, United
4, Liverpool
Maybe Arsenal will even get 4th. No offense to Pool I just don’t think they’ll be anywhere near as good next season, they’ve hit the heights, got a jump on everyone last season and didn’t look back so fair play. But truth is they’re just not that good in my opinion especially not good enough to win back to back

It's pretty clear you don't know what your talking about banging on like an extra goal every 8 games would mean he had a good season rather than a crap one and I could attempt to explain pressing, counter pressing and so on but it would be pointless.
Simply put anyone who thinks Lukaku would get in this Liverpool team has no business going online and talking about football.
Surely there’s a middle ground here.
Firmino has underperformed in terms of goals scored. The lack of goals at Anfield is a remarkable stat for a league winning team and there must be an element of not taking chances in that stat.
However, it’s also surely fair to say that this underperformance in one part of his game is clearly of little importance to his overall contribution. This is proven by the manager’s reliance on him and the team winning the league at a canter.
Firmino’s good but not great
Salah was pretty good last season but not as good as previous one
Mane if he stays is obviously top class
vvd and the full backs top class along with keeper
The rest are just very mediocre though and it’s a mediocre squad depth. I just think hunger over quality was the main contributor and I don’t think they’ll be anywhere near as good as last season, just my opinion. And bare in mind I said Pool would p!ss the title last season
Just don’t think if Liverpool don’t strengthen they’ll even challenge for the title this season
Well soon see though!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
This part is entirely uncontroversial I'd have thought.
Here is the list of top scorers from last year's PL (which doesn't even feature Firmino):
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/top-scorers
Firmino actually took more shots than anyone in this list (99, next is Salah with 95), but his shots/goals ratio was woeful (a 9% conversion ratio, worst on the above list is Maupay at 15%).
So he took more shots at goal than any other PL player, but didn't finish in the top 20 goalscorers. In comparison in his best scoring season at Pool, he took far fewer shots (84 in the 17/18 season), but was roughly twice as clinical.

Take the manager and the rest of the team out of the equation, and which squad‘s set of forwards would you take for a neutral club over a 50+ game season - Liverpool’s, City’s or Chelsea’s (Havertz included). I’ve added a list above somewhere to aid the memory.

Obviously Liverpools or Citys.
Both proven in this league, both won league titles as a group, Liverpools helped the club reach consequtive CL finals, winning one, both hold records for goals scored as a group, and individually.
Chelsea is a group of names, that you seem to be somewhat in awe of for God knows what reason.
You couldn't mention Havertz and Werner in the same breath as the likes of Mane, Salah, Aguero etc, has they have acheived nothing of any note in football whatsoever.
