Jimenez signed up for four years. Will he stay for the rest of his career?

Best business we have done, what a player , we are blessed to have him, I am delighted by this
Of course we must take into consideration that a new 4 year contract means he will almost definitely stay for at least a year.
Cynic, but you may well be proved correct
It may be that Raul finally feels loved and is very settled at 29. His career prior to us was patchy to say the least but now he plays week in week out, scores often and is now elevated to main man for his national team. On top of all this he has started a family.
Calvert Lewin 9th goal of the season already
we might even see a new Traore contract shortly

What a great picture
Putting my cynical/sarcastic head on, just because he's signed a new contract, doesn't mean he'll stay. Ask the poster who suggested that just because Coady signed a new contract, doesn't mean he'll stay.
Did fear we would lose Raul this summer as he was the right age to get a last big payout. Now he has signed this contract I feel hopeful that at a year older he won’t be such a big attraction for the big clubs.
As for Coady he is so settled here and the way the club plays suits him down to the ground. Don’t see him going anywhere
Nice to see we agree, DJ.

There's a first time for everything
Interesting the ways clubs renew contracts. On the one hand you have Coady who is captain and fits the system currently used perfectly so gets rewarded then on the other you have Jimenez who is world class and we need to show other clubs that they would have to pay top top dollar.
Good to see Raul sign a new contract. Means he stays or other clubs need to pay top dollar to prise him away (less likely now given his age).
Salah has Covid now. Liverpool need to isolate full stop
Just reading that the Royal Albert Hall are selling tickets for pre xmas concerts where capacity will be limited to less than 60%
How can that be allowed to proceed in an indoor venue but nobody is allowed to watch a football match outdoors
The elite can behave at a concert while football fans can't?
Bonatini lasted 20 minutes of his Grasshoppers debut before going of injured.

But fans are allowed to watch a football match outdoors- in germany.

Aren't fans at games in most of Europe now? Most of the US has fans as well i think.
Actually just checked, only 11 teams of 32 in the NFL allow a small percentage of fans thus far
It's not just at the ground. It's the public transport that will be packed with fans going to games. The pubs in the city centres will get busy with fans going to the games and those who want the matchday atmosphere.
When you add all that up across 92 teams or 46 games across the country, that is a massive amount of people. Much more risk than a concert at one venue, but who is to say that concert will be allowed to go ahead at that point anyway.
