You don’t have to agree with every Liverpool fan Term, you can have your own opinion.
Is Kane operating at a ‘similar level’ to what Firmino was a few years back? No, he quite clearly is operating at a level above, unless Firmino had the most productive season (or even close) in PL history because that is what Kane is on course for currently.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I've said, performing at a similar level but with more impressive stats. Anthony Modeste was one of the top scorers for Koln back in 2016, did that make him better than some others on a consistent basis? No.
Kane being "currently on course" is no indicator of anything. Everton are currently on course to win the PL title, is that likely to happen?
Firmino better than Kane.
Give your head a wobble.

Once again, which nobody has actually said. You and Wahl are the only two people that think this has been said, what a surprise that isn't.
Firmino has never been at Kane’s level. Liverpool fans are unbelievable.

You’ve said a lot of things without really making a point.
Kane, one of the best strikers in the world, is currently playing his best football arguably of his career. If you said he is playing a similar role than Firmino then fair enough, if you are saying it’s a similar level (which you did) then that’s outrageous/hilarious.
My point was, Kane is performing to a similar, yet slightly better, level than what the Firmino of a couple of seasons ago was. My justification of this was Kane having more impressive looking stats, but with the less work rate and off the ball work that Firmino gives during transition, which is why I said similar levels, in a similar role.
Of course, that is not the case now as Kane is clearly the better player at this moment in time. Of course you will hold a different opinion because the overriding feeling I get from most Spurs fans these days is that your attack is the best thing since sliced bread, which it quite frankly isn't.

No I really did think Firmino is better than Kane...
Think the Liverpool lads are the only ones recently performing at that level, with sterling werner and son too probs.
theres a lot of potentially world class rashford and pulisic the rest are very good but probably wont make the world class mark. Lloris shouldnt be anywhere near the list hes average.

I think the point was firmino plays a deeper role linking play instead of at the tip of the attack. Lane has played deeper under Jose and there are similarities but I don't think anyone would suggest he is a better finisher than Kane.
Kane wouldn't be ideal for Pool due to his pace but he is world class. Mane would be a beast for spurs but he wouldn't have the attacking freedom he does at pool as a left attacker. Different attributes. Both deadly. Best fit for your team is the one fans will sway towards.
Kane is shearer mk 2 and a rarity nowadays in the PL. Mane has insane energy levels and can create a goal from nothing. Both could go up levels too.
don't think any of the young players are currently world class.
some (TAA, Rashford, Werner) have maybe more hope than others of getting there.
A world class player is a player that should in theory walk into any teams line up home or abroad, unless they have world class players already in that position.
A players who's injury or suspension drastically changes the outlook for their team in the next fixture.
VVD is a great example.
Players who are good in their system aren't world class, unless they could deliver the same output in any system bar parking the bus.

This is literally TAA
Id say TAA could be a world class winger given his delivery, but defensively he is shocking. Constantly got in behind and dawdling around.
Is Robertson really that good? Compared to Alex Telles for example or reguilon, is he better?
