When I saw the “I’m on a roll” bit, I thought it was another bread related encounter

It would be easier to list what he has done that is right and for the good benefit to the USA and the rest of the world for that matter.

Encouraging American oil production , so the US is no longer dependent on the middle east
Although that's double edged in terms of the environment

Look..he's been the best President ever...he told us so...& I have no reason to think he's fibbing, & i'm sure in the days to come he'll expose all the cheating in the election and take his second term

Climate change.

In Trump World, this means "Let's frack the hell out of the USA."

Standing up to China , Decapiating the problem by taking out Soleimani when Iran was causing problems, again could have seriously escalated but things petered out
Trump was very unpredictable, I think he refused to bomb Iran when they shot down a US drone, some Democrats criticised him for that

Standing up to China?

Wtf planet are you orbiting?

Xi has the US over a barrel.

And it's not an oil barrel.

The only trade win for Forrest Trump over China was him imposing taffifs on their hi-tech, which American buyers pay for through higher prices.

In the meantime, the only thing the USA has traded more in.... The ONLY thing...

... Is soyabean.

He raised tarries on China. They then put the price of their goods up.

Who lost out? The American consumer who buys the goods.

Trumps Trade war has not benefitted the USA at all. Just Google the companies that have gone bust because of the Steel Tariffs alone.

Trumps “let’s get the US Steel Mills open again” never happened. That is why Biden won in Allegheny County PA. All the Pittsburg Steel mills are still shut.

Trump has benefited his own pocket though.

Even now he is grifting his own supporters to pay his legal fees for his law suits that have failed to prove voter fraud.

There is an addendum at the bottom of the docket that says a percentage of what is raised will go to pay of the Trump Campaign debts. Debts his 2016 campaign still haven’t paid.

China was vulnerable too, their production was the lowest it had been for 17 years in 2019 , there were subsidies for US production and agriculture.
Trump still had support , more people voted for Trump in this election then for obama when he won both times. It's good he lost though he was too outspoken too polarising

News Flash

Obama wasn’t on the ticket.

I believethe USA owes more money to China than you can find down the back of the sofa.
They cannot renege on it otherwise the dollar plummets overnight.

Trump is watching out for himself not the American people. He has looked out for his daughter, as she is an adviser to the White House. The one he kissed on the lips, as you do your grown up daughters. I wonder if he did any puussy grabbing?

Haha no s**t, the point is Trump was still popular enough to get a massive vote but so polarising , that more people voted for Biden then they had for any candidate in US history

given the current state of markets, currency reserves etc. if trump started a full on USA China trade war will only end one way. and it won't be good for the USA.

step 1. US imposes tariffs.
step 2. china imposes retaliatory tariffs.
step 3. US imposes more tariffs.
step 5. china increases retaliatory tariffs, opens cases at the WTO
step 5. US companies go bust as increased material costs impact p+l.
step 6. mass US unemployment as us companies reduce workforce / close factories to reduce costs.
step 7. USA leaves the WTO. increases tariffs across the board punitively, refutes/ignores WTO rulings.
step 8. china dumps all $ currency reserves on the open market.
step 9. china dumps all 2/5/10/30 year US T bonds on the open market.
step 10. china calls in all US debts it owns.
step 11 USA declared bankrupt.

This isn't news. He wasn't popular enough this time though.

Trump beat Clinton due to her unpopularity. Trump would never have beaten Obama if he had been up against him.

Walmart is a good guide of what the Trump Trade War achieved.

Higher prices of goods made in China. And it didn't take long to happen either. Who would have thought?
