Agreed.

He was nuts and wanted to be the centre of attention from minute one as we saw immediately with him giving an absurd yellow to Declan when there was barely any contact, putting our midfield on the backfoot for the rest of the game.

Then anytime the Porto players fancied a freekick they just dropped to the floor with a range of zero to minimal contact and he gave them one.

I felt like I was being transported back in time to last decade and before in the Champions League knockouts, nothing has changed in that sense although I suppose that's European competition in general.

I remember this referee from other matches. The couldn't look less Dutch apart from his greasy gelled back hair which is a common trend amongst Dutch lads.

Oh he also cost us one of our breaks running across the line of where we wanted to pass twice in quick succession.

Really cannot see anything other than an Arsenal win tonight? At home, scoring plenty in the league and bang on form

Score in the first 20mins and it could be 3 or 4 but if Newcastle can keep it tight first half it might make it tougher
