Xhaka and Partey is still bar the best option we have in MF.

Lokongo should be playing for the under 23s.

Probably have to start Elneny
----------------------------------------------------------------------

May as well give AMN a couple of games. If he can't break into the team now then there is no point keeping him around in January - we need to go out and buy somebody ready for the first XI.

Feel like I watch a different game, Sambi moves the ball well just doesn't quite have that stature yet. Not every u21 player can be Fabregas
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah that is obvious

Not saying he should be a fabregas. He is a good player but one for the future

Did anyone see the Palace vs Brighton game?

Or even try AMN but he is very sloppy on the ball

How can you compare games like that, J99?

Lads lads lads. We have decent players but a shocking coach. A point was a decent result. Carry on our momentum plus put a stopper to all that dogshiete about Arteta being the new wenger.

Also I would like to see Taveres

Tierney looks like he is lacking fitness

It was a derby and Potter admitted it was their worst performance of the season. They've played fairly well in most of their other games. Respect the job Potter has done with the resources at his disposal.

This doesn't excuse Arteta's lack of proactiveness or poor displays, but like I said, Brighton are a difficult team to play against.

As I've told you, they are a team we've struggled against since they've been promoted.

Didn't you feel the Spurs game was a turning point? I did and then how can you explain what we saw today. Can you understand why I am furious?

No . I am comparing where we are compared to Brighton who finished 16th last season. 20 points behind us playing us of the park.

Salah and Mane were not considered true world class players before they joined Liverpool. A good manager integrated them into a great system that has developed them into what they are now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really don't see what point you are trying to make. None that seem to be relevant to us today.

Talking about a Liverpool team that is miles ahead of us and a crystal Palace team that got no more out of the game than we did.

Different game, different opponent, different approach. Some players werent up for it tonight. Tomi for example struggled for the first time.

Nope, only a mug would see anything but a blip (sorry J99).

This team is excellent when set in an attacking mode. It lacks creativity when the setup is negative, which is Arteta's natural game.

Yea but a point is only a decent result because we have a shocking manager. It wasn’t a decent result at all.

Ramsdale: "They way they press is top intensity. It was a difficult game, Brighton made it really hard for us. I don't think we took the foot off the gas, I just don't think we were as good (as last week)."

Creating chances is still a major issue. Bar the NLD, we have created hardly anything in the other games

We always look rushed in the final 3rd

Players not on the same level than last week.

My point is that when you talk down about players like Auba and Ode and others its easy to forget that world class players can be made to look shhite in a poor system and good players look great with a good manager.

We shouldn't lower our expectations and fall into the trap created by those peddling bull to keep themselves in a job.

Arsenal spent the most money last season. We deserve to see better. And we should be benchmarking ourselves with the best clubs in England because although some would prefer we forget, that Arsenal are still the 3rd/4th highest supported club in England.

It's not even just that, Spurs are dreadful and we usually beat them at home anyway. In the last 5 years, we've won 4 and drawn 1 against them at The Emirates. And these are in our WORST years in the PL era. Beating Spurs is no indication of a turned corner.
