No. I don't think so. Most fair-minded Scots will see this murky episode for what it is - an attempt to undermine and smear Nicola Sturgeon. I rather suspect that Sturgeon and the SNP will get a 'bounce' from Hamilton's report.
So the report author turns out to be an adviser to SNP in 2013 and then re-hired by Sturgeon in 2015.
Haha - nothing to see here, Bob - no siree!
What a joke
Damage is well and truly done.
The huge majority she believed she had has gone. She’ll always have her die hard supporters but the middle ground has deserted her. Not long now and a small but not overall majority and she’s hamstrung.
Polling at 50/50 or thereabouts.

I think most fair minded Scots will see there was an attempt to smear. But this is not a complete victory for her or the snp. It looked less than ideal and a ruling finding her to be quite forgetful won't undo the damage this brought on. Now I expect polls will head upwards again slightly but they wont reach the levels of before this.
It now transpires that not only was he the author of the report - she referred herself to him for the inquiry!

She’s either very forgetful in which case she isn’t in the right job (50 times she couldn’t recollect, recall, remember it that way or would have to check) during her interview or.....

Polling is 50/50?
you mean 50% SNP and 50% all other parties?
and that's after months of over the top rhetoric that appears to have been about eff all as an independent enquiry found.
I'm sure all good minded people in the press will come out and correct the record?
and then maybe go after Patel for bullying, Hancock for acting unlawfully and Bojo for illegally proroguing parliament and deliberately misleading the house a few weeks ago.

Now I know it's a stitch up
Sturgeon is going to be FM again, it just depends if it is a majority or minority government. Paul clearly hasn't been paying attention with the 'unelectable' comment.
Before the saga, you would have thought it would be a majority. Last week you would have thought it would be a minority. Now it could go either way.
There are people questioning her because she forgot the meeting. Hamilton said he understands the scepticism. However, he and others have pointed out that she had nothing to gain from concealing the meeting.

Depends what you mean by do well
Will she get a majority? Yes. Undoubtedly.
Will it be the sizeable record of a majority? Nah. Small minority and likely not enough to control the government.
Even if you narrowly miss out on a majority, you have still 'done well'. The Scottish voting system sets a high threshold regarding vote % to get an overall majority.
I don't think she'll get a majority mate.
I think too many people will be in the same boat as me. I was very seriously thinking about holding my nose and voting for them for this election, but I'm now leaning more towards repeating my vote for the last Scottish election.
She needs people like me to vote for them.
The Indy parties will still have a majority but I don't think the SNP will.
