What is your point then? Wenger should still be here?
Well it’s not as if every one though it would be trophy gilded road from the get go
By the time Wenger left it became almost impossible to win an away game - continued incremental decline (or worse) under him was guaranteed. That’s the truth, his appointment of Gazidis (how many managers choose their boss?) meant the fix would be even more painful. We are seeing that now...

Continual incremental decline.... We were top 4 for 21 years mate. His last finish in top four was 2nd. We are now 10th with 8 games to go.

Yeah, but that 2nd place wasn't his last season... 🧐
His successors have hardly been the standard of manager our fans were calling for , nobody wanted Emery and nobody wanted Arteta as first choices. But Let’s keep wheeling out the old Wenger love and ‘I told you so’ articles tho every time we fail.
Wenger out crew in turmoil
Was that the season Leicester won? When we were in a one horse race up until Xmas, bottled it and it became a two horse race between Leicester and Spurs then Leicester ran away with it and we powered back into second to beat spurs?
Not a very constructive post really. Living in the past is hardly going to solve the current crisis. You need to take off the Wenger blinkers lad and move on. For what its worth I'm was in favour of keeping Arteta but his position is becoming increasingly untenable game after game.
Although I shouldn’t laugh... powering back into second place is but a fantasy these days :/

Yeah.... But basically anyone who said don't underestimate Wengers achievements was probably on the right path right? Wenger out planes were flew when we finshed 2nd. How would a 4th place feel today?
Banners, planes, insults at train stations, swearing at his face. Senile. Old can't get out of my club. Etc
Let's be honest: football fans across the globe think we are getting our just deserts. They are right aren't they
Why not get rid of Wenger and replace him with a world class manager which we all asked for but still haven’t got it.
I was rather hoping for someone in the Klopp/ Simeone mould myself... didn’t really know who Emery was
Imagine hounding out a Legendary manager for this sh!t show, I bet they appreciate those top 4 finished now lol
Grass isn't always greener folks 😅
Who knows when we'll ever get top 4 again.

His exit was handled poorly and yes the abuse was uncalled for after what he did for this club. At the same time we were paying the highest prices in Europe and a lot of fans who were acting within their right were questioning whether he took us as far as he could in the end and wanted a positive change and a top manager to replace him, I don’t see anything wrong with that.

You mean like mourinho at spurs? How's that going?
How about if the fans just got behind the team when times got tough. Not bringing banners to games. How many times has that happened since?
Just deserts. Can you argue?

Did we finish top 4 in his last season when we only won one away game all season?. Rapid decline, he should have left when Klopp was available.

So one season out of 20 not making top 4 means he couldn't get it next year? Interesting way to see it lol
But lets be honest most people didn't appreciate the top 4 finishes anyway so him getting top 4 in his last season wouldnt have stopped ungrateful children hounding him out. Infact most people were sh!tting on his top 4 finishes as if it wasnt a good consistent achievement.
But the irony is if we got top 4 now those same people would be celebrating as if it was a trophy even though they mocked it 😅🤣

The last 2.
His last season saw us finish with 12 less points, and the lowest points tally since 95. Hard to argue in favour of him reversing the trend, especially as he spent a large amount to get that decline.
