I just don't get the resistance to change? I accept that if they do the fan base may change and the matchday experience may change but, as is alluded to on this thread, maybe change can be positive?
I am sure there are still a few fans that hanker after standing in ash and p!sh at games getting herded onto the football special and enjoying a square go with the locals before chucking their half bottle onto kids at the front of the terracing but we have moved on. Families at games is brilliant.

But, as we've discussed, it really doesn't have tpo mean that as tickets become a smaller % of turnover.

I wonder how we’ll reorganize to make up for his going.
it doesn't have to but it absolutely will, there is no way in hell celtic wouldn't fire up their rates because they know people will pay it.
i'd expect 800-1000 cheapest season book.

I actually feel a massive European league of sorts will be the future of football, hopefully it will include more clubs and maintain a pyramid system for all domestic clubs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Inveitable when the time comes.
Functioning kind of like the Brazil system (did, maybe still does?) with the regional half season and the country half season.
Half domestic, half pan-european with sporting merit. That is what i think will eventually be settled upon

Not a chance. Most EPL clubs don’t charge that for normal season tickets. And whilst tempting it’s still about affordability. Most fans in Scotland couldn’t afford that.
I’d expect a rise though. Goes without saying.

Yes! If football was truly for the fans then other clubs wouldn't need Celtic to help them financially.
Why does the SPL and other leagues depend on one or two clubs financially so that if you remove two clubs the whole league collapses?
Think about it, if you're not a fan of celtic or rangers you'll never see your team achieve anything.
Football is already in trouble and a bit pathetic and people act like they saved it by opposing the super League.

Under current structures 99% of teams will never win anything meaningful.

Quite the opposite.
The pittance of trophy wins to any of those clubs fans will likely mean more to any of them than all our collective titles put together.
There are ICT fans who saw their side win their 1 senior trophy at Hampden who know they will likely never see it again in their lives.
