Quite the opposite.
The pittance of trophy wins to any of those clubs fans will likely mean more to any of them than all our collective titles put together.
-------
Facts don't care about feelings and neither does fairness.
The question here is how fair is the distribution of resources and stuff like that.
How people feel doesn't come into the equation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What?
You said this “ St. johnstone with their league cup win can't feel anywhere near as good as Celtic or Rangers title win too.”
What did you mean by it?

Why is there no context. You've basically pulled out one sentence out of a series of replies.
Here's the end of it
And for the 1%, winning things will never feel as meaningful as it does to the 99%.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean the 99% that will never win anything meaningful? You can't say that for sure anyway It might or it might not IMO. St. johnstone with their league cup win can't feel anywhere near as good as Celtic or Rangers title win too.
So.it was a reply to a comment, not necessarily something I believe to be true.
How did you miss the comment I was replying to? It's right there and yet you cherry picked one sentence.
And here's the full back and forth. Context is a good thing.

Yes! If football was truly for the fans then other clubs wouldn't need Celtic to help them financially.
Why does the SPL and other leagues depend on one or two clubs financially so that if you remove two clubs the whole league collapses?
Think about it, if you're not a fan of celtic or rangers you'll never see your team achieve anything.
Football is already in trouble and a bit pathetic and people act like they saved it by opposing the super League.

I suppose when you put it like that I better just pack it all in and go support a team that wins every week.

Why not?
Under current structures 99% of teams will never win anything meaningful.

it doesn't have to but it absolutely will, there is no way in hell celtic wouldn't fire up their rates because they know people will pay it.
i'd expect tel:800-1000 cheapest season book.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not a chance. Most EPL clubs don’t charge that for normal season tickets. And whilst tempting it’s still about affordability. Most fans in Scotland couldn’t afford that.
I’d expect a rise though. Goes without saying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Economics - it will be supply and demand. If the people that do want to see it outnumber the ones that just want to sing DOB then they will go up. If they use the money to raze the South stand and get us up to 75k then maybe not?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
had a look based on season 18/20 and most clubs that were not just promoted or relegation fodder were 600+ easy.
thats what we charge for the scottish premiership how can anyone honestly think this board won't rub their greedy little hands together at the opportunity to make more money.
every time they get a chance to take the pi$$ they do.
the same club who gave it "oh me oh my please dont takw your refund" then snuck in a wee clause so there was no chance it could be done this year.
the same club whos idea of "added value" is a digital pre match programme?
naive to think they wouldn't inflate the prices imo guys.
That Dassault Falcon 7x cost $54m you know.
