This one trophy obviously means more to our supporters than all the ones you rhymed off do to you and your fellow fans....pretty sure I know what the reason for that is, and I’m sure you do to
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enjoying a trophy win does not mean trashing the city and fighting among yourselves. That is thug behaviour. No excuses for any of it. Glasgow’s shame once again.

More people gathering in one place + alcohol + some resentment for the current administration within a number of the group present = idiots taking things too far, showing a lack of respect for authority and basically acting as drunken idiots tend to do.
If Celtic ever have to work from the bottom tier up, win their first title in 10 years, stop their greatest rivals from winning 10iar in the process, and are told by a government that the majority of their fans don’t like, that they can’t do something....are you honestly telling me there would not have been similar scenes last night?
As said, this title clearly means a lot more than any of the trophies you lot have won over the past 10 years......the environment surrounding that title win has led to what happened last night.
If the pubs were open, if fans could get into Ibrox and they could celebrate how they liked where they liked......last night doesn’t happen.
As has also been said on these boards today..,a quick google search will show you Liverpool fans fighting amongst themselves outside Anfield after their first title in 30 years.
Had they had won the league every year for the past 10 years...that doesn’t happen......would’ve been more like what was seen at the Etihad last week
So stop trying to compare what this title win means, with what Celtic fans have or have not one over the past 10 years...wholly different circumstances
They never have been able to celebrate like normal people. The old club were presented with a European trophy in the dressing room because of their fans behaviour. It's just how they are.

Is it possibly a symbolic gesture? George square has taken on a lot of focus since the Indy vote. Don’t know if it’s either to show they’re taking back the city, or taking back the square after the whole Indy incident?

Eesh. That’s depressing.
Perhaps the bears should look at, to highlight one concern, the nature of a lot of the singing from a ‘few’ at George Square. This anti-Catholic streak by which it seems so many bears define themselves needs to be addressed. I am an atheist, but I am a Catholic atheist so perhaps I’m able to have a foot in both camps.
I’m willing to extend my hand if the bears are. A reach. To talk over this issue honestly and openly. Starting with the outskirts of the surface behaviour before looking at the core of it. Around.
Come on bears. Join me in my reach around.

What happened last night happens all over the country every Saturday when the pubs are open and folk get pi$hed
Trying to dress up folk getting pi$hed and causing havoc as a “trait” amongst the Rangers support
It’s a trait amongst pi$hed folk....just so happens that last night, it was concentrated in one place, with more folk watching and paying attention

“ It’s called thuggery and I thought you’d see it and not try to justify or defend it in the way you have. Says a lot.”
Here’s my issue
Only reason you are making a point about it this morning is because he idiots that acted like thugs last night were wearing Rangers colours
If the same wee idiots caused havoc up and down the country at pubs and clubs, as most of them probably do every other weekend...you’d have fck all to say about it.
Was it disgraceful to see...yes
Am I defending idiots for being idiots...no, they always will be
The unfortunate thing is that this will reflect on the club, which is always unfortunate
But don’t sit here and expect me to agree with people saying that this only happened because it Rangers fans who can’t behave themselves, unlike others....naw, it’s wee thugs, lightweights and idiots that cannie behave themselves as per usual

Not trying to excuse it, and then spends the rest of the post trying to excuse it.
Of course there are always isolated incidents amongst any set of fans-recent history is showing this behaviour isn’t isolated, it’s a pattern amongst an element of your fans.

They marched from Ibrox to George Square?
Why? Why not just stay and party at Ibrox? There’s car parks around there surely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it possibly a symbolic gesture?

It’s called thuggery and I thought you’d see it and not try to justify or defend it in the way you have. Says a lot.
