Every time a group of people has an unauthorised mass gathering with a mixture of alcohol it will likely descend into chaos, it’s that flucking simple and until people like you actually call it what it is without constantly trying to attach it to something or a particular group of people, then people like me will be making similar comments the next time.

You can’t legislate for idiots...they don’t have to be fans of anything, they don’t have to be attached to anything or pigeon holed

It wasn’t unauthorised. You can’t stop people gathering, especially in level 3.

This is the 2nd time in 8 weeks Rangers fans have caused carnage in George square, no other fan base has done such a thing in Scotland in recent times, possibly even this century.

In fact, the previous time riot police was deployed at George square was for a unionist gathering to celebrate the independence result, we all know how that night went too yes?

There’s a theme Stevie and it’s not a few drunken f@*nies. It’s a fan base that unfortunately has a very large proportion of f@*nies who want nothing but anarchy, even when they win.

I’ll happily hold my hand up and revisit my position when I see another Scottish teams cause this amount of carnage in their home country.

As it stands, this is an issue deep rooted in Rangers fan base and it will only be sorted when people are brought up and educated and not dragged up.

If Queens Park had a similar sized fan base, had just gone through what Rangers had gone through, and had decided to en masse to go get blootered and have an unauthorised party in George Square...I’d have expected nothing less either

If Scotland were to win the Euros this summer and lockdown was still in place...and something like this went ahead....I’d expect much the same again

If Scotland got independence.....I’d have expected much the same

Mass gathering + drink + stupidity ultimately leads to trouble

i honestly hate this patter.

you haven't been through anything, your club was liquidated and u had to start again in the fourth tier after years of financial mismanagement.
