McCarthy wasn't great

Moses cause problems but IMO lacked en product
Wigans chances were really from Chelsea mistakes tbh.

Another game without Luiz, another game without a clean sheet

i think wigan are in a great position that teams underestimate us so much

agree wigan with everything other than wigan been in a great position, 18th is a bad position.

wouldnt entirely blame avb he made the kalou change at the right time other changes were still players in malouda who could get a goal and mikel was needed to close down space in midfield but he didnt play well tbh

blame should go entirely to the players but no doubt the media will pin it on AVB

yeah i said moses was good but he did lack an end product he had a great chance to score or set up a teammate and instead kicked it straight out for a throw in, that would be the main example of his lack of end product.

disagree with the subs jet, Kalou was what was needed from first half a person to attack down the left as Mata was coming inside all the time, Torres and Drogba as a front two simply doesnt work.

Mikel maybe shouldnt have been brought on id have kept Mata or Sturridge on at least one. Malouda change was right though he is more likely to help defend compared to sturridge and still provides a threat.

hopefully malouda will leave though and we sign de bruyne

I seriously disagree with subs. He brought on the right players just took off the wrong ones they were by no means bad though those players are still good enough to score more goals.

Cech should have held on but he had 2 players sliding into him and he was injured he could hardly move at that point. Wigan shouldnt have been allowed to get into that position by the midfield in the first place

65th minute and he takes off Mata? Wigan were looking dangerous and had the players to find an equaliser at 0-1. IMO he underestimated them slightly.

I really don't see why he starts Lampard, anonymous for most parts and should have been subbed.

on the brightside. Sturridge scored another good goal, with his right foot! Kalas was a rock for vitesse and kept a clean sheet and set up the winner, and apparently Bruma had another solid game too

at least the future is bright, i think the summer will be a big one for us. AVB will know what he needs to bring in and who needs to go out. The older players that arent still playing as much like malouda ect should leave, Drogba id sell if we can get another decent striker in, Cole id sell and give Bertrand the starting role, Lampard needs to be used more like scholes and Terry more like Ferdinand, id like to see a new CB like Subotic brought in and played alongside Luiz, Terry when we need more experience.

Really aslong as we stay in the top 4 this year ill be happy, tbh think thats all that every chelsea fan wants whos realistic, top 4 and avb a chance to make his own team

Rooney dont get me wrong i agree Mata should have stayed on, i said at the time he came off that was wrong. I just think bringing on Mikel was the right option, probably for Lampard

as i say we need to be making big changes in the summer. Torres after the spurs game(i think we should go back to how we played v valencia so drogba starts) should be first choice.

already have the bases of a very good team for the future, a top class lw like a Hazard or Gotze or Neymar and a good CB and i can see us doing better as a team. AVB has to be given time though that is absolutley crucial because so far he is doing the right things imo, changed our tactics when needed, isnt playing players who arent offering anything ie dropping Mikel, Lampard, Anelka when previous managers refused too. Giving younger players big roles like Sturridge and Romeu

only things that can be questioned are his subs, i understand mainly the ones he made today but other times theyve been wrong, hes a bit like Mancini in that aspect though
