wigan v chelsea was actually really bad till the last 5 minutes then wigan started getting chances

2nd level on points with City but Man City, Tottenham and Arsenal all better this year than last. Only man utd who really don't look like they've improved

Most games Chelsea do look they have improved just the odd bad performance here and there but at the same time Chelsea the only team in the top 4 who are changing players, tactics, manager

there not lazy its the manager and coachs who have undestimated wigan

Ancelotti won a league title though, I know he needs time and will come good, but some of his decision making is poor.

Wiel joining Valencia? I'd have thought a slightly bigger club would have come in for him, but may just have been hyped up.

How is it? Are they the ones playing the game? Did you actually see the chelsea players they were the ones who didn't play well. If the manager underestimated Wigan he'd have changed a winning formula but he didn't apart from one enforced change

so it isnt the managers fault at all but then why didnt he motivate the subs and the players...why didnt he get them going after half time and why didnt he get off the lazy players and put on people wanting to play

I wouldn't say his descision making is poor at all especially not compared to ancelotti in the second season. He starts the right team, he generally makes the right sub only when we are winning and he takes of Mata early is his mistake with subs. He changes tactics if they aren't working and tactically he has been solid

Wigan not saying he has no blame. I'm sure he did motivate players but he can't control how they play from the the touchline can he they've got to take responsibiltiy for the result. It was the midfielder lack and pressure and defensive mistakes that cost us the result not AVB. At the end of the day if Mikel had gone on and done his job properly they wouldn't have had the chances. If Malouda hadn't have been greedy twice at the end we would have score again.

Players are about 80% to blame and AVB 20%

We've all moved on from there because at the end of the day it was a poor Chelsea performance that was the reason for the result really. If Chelsea had stepped it up they'd have won, had it been Man City playing that Wigan performance they'd have won comfortably.

Wigan deserved the points definitly but that's because of Chelsea playing as bad as they did. Apart from Sturridge no one actually tried to get a shot on goal and the rest just let them play the ball where they wanted
