Like I said, all very easy to make a lot of passes in that Barca team. Likes of Umtiti and Pique make more passes than most in Spain I’d bet. Obviously their impact is allowing the team to control possession, to press forward and allow the midfield to create space higher up the park.

I’ve not see any word of Arthur’s actual impact apart from the number of passes.

If you go on to a Barca fan page you’ll see they’re still looking for improvement from him.

I’ve actually always rated Barkley, although he’s not an intelligent player.

Never really pay a great deal of attention to fan pages tbh, they ultimately hold a biased opinion due to their emotional attachment to the club. Ronaldo was regularly slated by Madristras despite putting in consistently unreal performances.

I form my opinion on the performances I have seen and the thoughts of his fellow pro's, the fact that he's being recognised by both Valverde and Tite holds far more weight than that of disgruntled fans also IMO.

Looking back at it, Arthur was obviously very impressive against Spurs. Still that’s one game, although a big one, don’t think it’s enough to say a very impressive start.

Played very well against Spurs and followed that up with an impressive passing display against Valencia.

Don't get me wrong he could go on to have an absolute stinker in his next game, however to date I've been very impressed with what I've seen.

Mount is better either way so pointless discussion

I didn’t mention the Valencia game as I didn’t see anything to back that up Only one stat, the comments from Barca fans seemed to suggest he wasn’t very impressive despite that.
