Poor Terry, Lamps and Gerrard go straight in as manager and he’s stuck as assistant
I think he prefers the coaching side to the management side currently
he doesn't want to manage yet
Doesn’t seem to know what he wants
well if he didn't he wouldn't have accepted the role of assistant coach, which he seems to want to do first
He pretty much accepted a move to Russia a few weeks ago before pulling out last minute
he said it didn't feel right for his family which is fair enough
Aye I know but why I’m saying he didn’t seem to know what he wanted, quickly changed from leaving Villa, looking for a club, retiring and now assistant manager. Not like it was a big plan
Listening to the Peter Crouch podcasts now, think it’s brilliant
anyway up for deals at Villa and Chelsea I guess
Fancy his end goal is management, but maybe not the current priority. Imagine he'll have been offered a coaching job with us too. I think he enjoys developing youth players more than anything, but perhaps as assistant feels he can get the best experience of both
I agree LSTD. One defeat in twelve signals us massively off the rails.
Said it's a start, lots of draws, very few wins recently!
Because we have 1/4 of our first team squad out injured
Last year we started well and fell apart under no adversity. This year we have faced adversity and are still picking up points. Good signs. Hopefully when Roofe and Hernandez are back we will start scoring a few more goals.
