Woeful batting line up....
This batting display is a disgrace. This has to be one of those results where English cricket (test) needs serious changes.
Disgraceful.
Lol, what an embarrassing looking scorecard
This would be up there with Adelaide 2006 if we lost this
Gough gets one wrong! 36 overs to survive for the final 6 wickets. We should be able to hold on but we've lost the first 4 in 22 overs.
Bairstow out lbw. I’m back on the anti-Jonny wagon for sure, the dopey ginger fack
These batsman are beyond a joke. Not really sure what the solution is. Usually when nothing improves the coach pays the price...but not sure what anyone could do with such poor players.
Final ball before tea. Aaaarrrrggghhhh why do we do that so often

I was listening to TMS before this kicked off and Vaughan was saying this has the potential to be one of the great England performances. After being so far behind the game on Day 1, the comeback with that fragile batting line up etc means this could be the making of this side. Incredible how a bad day could potentially do the complete opposite
Root should already start hogging the strike and protecting the tail

You joke...but it would probably be the best tactic from here...
Send Jimmy out as an evening watchman to protect the lower middle order.

All the time just before or right after a break....not confident we'll see this out.
No way are we seeing this out. Only thing I will say is I wonder if light will come into play, not sure?
Oh Ffs. That's the game, right there.
Was always going to happen at some point, can't rely on him every single innings

5 down in 22.3 overs. They still have another 37.3 to get the rest. Now Root has gone there is absolutely no chance. This looked like a really close contest but India could smash us by a decent margin now.
