Joe Root is the only player who is consistently good at this in the side. If Hameed brings this to the table then that's worth a huge amount

England should ideally aim to score at least 300 in the first innings.

Ideally we'll score 600 over the next 7 sessions but yes, 300+ should put us in command.

I thought that was out to be fair
