The GOP will not be able to re take the swing states they lost if most of their voters are dead. And it is looking that way at the moment. I read the other day that 99.9 % of deaths are un vaccinated people.
_______________________________
if we take Florida as an example (as the OP has done, as it is a "red state" ) then the vast majority of those unvaccinated are young people. also, as a percentage of their own ethnicity, white people are the most vaccinated, while hispanics are below them, with black people lagging far behind on the uptake.
I know this article was an attempt to blame old, white, fox watching trumpers, but the stats say otherwise
https://usafacts.org/visualizations/covid-vaccine-tracker-states/state/florida
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Only 55% in Florida have received one dose. You can bet that the vast majority of those who have got the jab, one or two doses are the Florida Dems.
2. The white, fox watching trumpers and the rest of right wing media along with twatbook are to blame for the disinformation.

so if the vaccine is just taken up by dems, why is the uptake low in ethnic minorities? are they all republicans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe just maybe because they have a lack of trust in the system because of how badly they’ve been let down in the past
There's been some very strange bedfellows emerging over this anti-vacc malarkey. Left wing nuts in the UK reposting right wing nuts in the US, allying over their shared paranoia.

In Florida, yes. The Hispanic Community mostly voted for Trump. Being mostly from Cuba they bought in to the far right fear mongering of the far left.

Moral of the story is don't trust anyone with wings.
Usually on a wall while you’re watching Tv and out of the corner of your eye a dinner plate sized spider appears. They’re completely harmless though so you just learn to live with them.
-
Never, under any circumstances, would I get used to living with a dinner-plate sized arachnid. This has genuinely been a deal-breaker for me when rejecting work opportunities down under.

I doubt it was a hard sell.
What I find strange is how often you see socialists on social media channels telling Cubans, Koreans etc. that they haven't experience true communism. Like a tory telling German-born Jews post-1945 that they haven't experience true national socialism...

They’re fast. I learnt the valuable lesson in trying not to kill one before bed. As I saw it on my wall before sleep time so tried to mash it but it ran under my bed and instead of just letting him do his thing and hunt insects I made a mortal spider enemy and never did see him again. He’s waiting and watching me.

😂 you barely see anything dangerous. The odd spider but some people go years without ever seeing a huntsman. And snakes are about as common in Sydney as badgers are in central London.
