Kane has a say in this.
Spurs do not hold the Aces.
ManU have Sancho.
Chelsea have Ambramovic's go ahead for Haaland.
So Kane has to decide to stay or leave.

Ted you are talking nonsense, he has 3 years left on his contract. Daniel Levy isn’t going to write off £40m - £50m on the most saleable asset we have ever had just because Kane makes things difficult, we would have every player doing it to us forever more.
It’s a simple case, we set a price we are willing to sell for this summer, City either agree to pay it or not. No hostility or bad feelings, that’s just the way it is. Personally I think City will wait a season and then spend £100m on him next summer

Zaha was not the best example. Better examples are Modric and Bale, both of whom Levy got additional seasons out of with no detriment to the club. Modric in particular we just point blank refused to sell to both Man United and Chelsea before selling for £10m less to Real Madrid the following summer.
Absolutely no chance that Levy will lower his demands by £50m this summer so Kane can go to City - and I can’t believe anyone who knows anything about football thinks he will.
Spurs and City hold the cards, Kane holds none. Spurs can set a price, City can agree to pay it or not, those are the cards.

Once again though, it depends on previous conversations Levy and Kane have had. Kanes team has made it known that they believe there is a gentleman's agreement in place. Kane told Neville there is a conversation to be had if a club bids 100 million. Now you are right that under contract, Levy has the control. If Kane feels that Levy has lied to him and gone back on anything they agreed then there will be problems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Kane is silly enough to accept a verbal agreement then he only has himself to blame. Anyway, no chance I believe that Levy said he would sell Kane for £100m. The stories coming out all believe a deal could be had at £160m, so no way we sell at £100m, Levy wouldn’t answer the phone for less than £150m.
Seems obvious to me he will be a Spurs player next season and then go the following summer for about £100m when he is 29 with 2 years left on his contract

I’m not sure that Kane did say that to be honest. He said he didn’t know, that maybe Levy might be thinking “if I can get 100m for him maybe I’d sell” or along those lines. Kane didn’t say “there is an agreement in place that we’ll discuss any offer of 100m” as far as I’m aware. There’s a big difference.
It’s funny Kane thought we’d entertain £100 million for him
And the champions will look to drive down the £160million asking price set by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Good luck with that

Ted, what part of Spurs hold all the Aces do you not understand.
1. Kane is under contract for another 3 years.
2. Spurs set the price, not City
3. City have zero input into the price Kane would be transferred for.
It`s a case of £160 million, a put up or shut up transfer.
Anything less and Kane will be staying at Spurs.
Ted, Would you sell your house for say £100 grand less than you had to if you did not have to sell it?

I thought your club had unlimited funds. Either put up or shut up. £160 million plus is the price.
It’s utterly laughable to think Spurs would sell Kane with 3 years left on his contract for £100m after a season where he was the top scorer in the league as well as the top assister.
Some people need to give their heads a wobble. It will be £150m plus this year or £100m next year, simples

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane has a say in this.
Spurs do not hold the Aces.
ManU have Sancho.
Chelsea have Ambramovic's go ahead for Haaland.
So Kane has to decide to stay or leave.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane is under contract Ted for 3 more years, so we hold the aces.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You do not understand contracts.
If a player want "out", no matter the contract,...he will become such a pain in the ass, that the club will let him go.
Happens ALL the time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zaha has wanted to leave Palace for 5 years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Strange that he signed a new contract what, two years ago then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zaha was not the best example.

The Star are now saying £120m, and City are saying it is too much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I've said spurs hold all the aces and do not have to sell and do not need to.
