From TFA "Spurs remain very interested in signing Martinez from Milan. Even though they say he’s not for sale, there is confidence that they will buckle under their intense financial pressure."
So let's get this straight, some Spurs fans are up in arms that City have unsettled Kane & turned his head, to the extent that some of you want City sanctioned for doing so BUT are quite happy for your own club to do the same to try and get one of their targets.
Hypocrisy much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is putting 2+2 and getting 5. Very embarrassing for you.
There are only a couple of idiot Spurs fans who think it is wrong that City have "tapped up" Kane.
In regards to Martinez, if Inter were not in financial trouble would we even contemplate signing him? In essence we are helping with the survival of their future.
Quite alot of Spurs fans have acknowledged tapping up happens but in the case of Kane, he wants to win trophies and sees City as his best chance to do so.
I and quite alot of other Spurs fans don't blame him. Only a few muggy Spurs fans will be bitter towards him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What part of 'some spurs fans are up in arms' & 'some of you want sanctions' is 'putting 2+2 together to make 5'?
After all you yourself DID actually agree that 'a few muggy spurs fans' will be bitter & 'only a couple of idiot spurs fans' think its wrong that City have tapped him up.
Is not 'a few' the same as some?

The numbers may be small but it's still 'some spurs fans'. OK I'll concede that it's mainly Shandy, his sock accounts and followers, but it's still some.
BTW, I hope you keep Kane so he doesn't strengthen City.

LOL you seem absolutely obsessed with me, do you ever post without mentioning my name. I think you need some help mate.
It's nothing personal Beast, I just think people find it irksome when the info you're providing is already widely available online anyway, yet it's delivered as some sort of inside scoop. From memory I think we were always nailed on for Romero and Gil. I mean, for Gil we went from no interest to signing him within 48 hours. Your article on him was released after we'd agreed a fee. With Romero, the general feeling all along was that the deal would get done.
Listen, each to their own. I'm just really sceptical about anyone that claims to get info as throughout the years there's only been maybe three people who's info I can hang my hat on as the gospel - those are JJetset, ValenciaY and POTL. Everyone else is just on the gravy train.

I just posted what i have heard. Create a discussion around everyone's views and thoughts.
I have stated multiple times that Paratici is a game changer and we are only interested in high quality singings with the view of winning trophies and getting back into the CL.
I was correct on both Gil and Romero when everyone was being negative. This was based on what i was hearing on my whats app group.
The deals we are looking to sign are complicated, expensive and were targeting players which also have interest from other big clubs.
I personally couldn't care less if you believe me or not, i'm just looking to share what i know and discuss it with other spurs fans

What are your thoughts on Kane? happy with £100m + Laporte?
Hang on! Has Sandy been using his VPN again? Whenever he backs someone I just assume it's because he holds both accounts and likes to have a little fun with identities

I'm not sure on that. The complication is the wages. If we bring anyone in from City they're going to be on wages that would hit our ceiling straight away. Then there's the commitment from the players in question. Does he want to come or is he told to go?
That said, it wouldn't be a bad deal. If we're going to sign another defender of Laporte's quality, we'd be spending over £50m which would mean we'd reach our asking price for Kane. Anything over £150m (cash or value) - we sell.

well so far we signed the keeper on a loan to buy and also Romero on a similar deal.
Gil came in for less than £20m and Hart, Toby & Foyth went out for somewhere between £17m and £25m (depending on what you believe about Toby's fee). So our net outlay so far is quite low.
As for our finances, i think we sorted them with some institutional funding in june which basically filled the pandemic black hole and now we're on an even keel and assuming a full season of full stadiums.
By the sounds of it our DoF talks to many many options and no doubt final decisions will be made when things become clearer about our finances (who is sold).
One thought that did occur to me was that with Chelsea spuffing 100m on Lukaku, perhaps their interest in Kounde will have eased. We had reportedly agreed a fee + Sanchez deal with Seville so if the lad has no top options come the end of the window may be we could add him to our ranks with some Kane money - Romero & Kounde, could be a top class pairing for the next 6 - 8 years!

What is this mess.
Show us where Spurs have publicly stated we are interested in siging Martinez, and you might have half a point lol
As for Laporte, no thanks, any player deemed not good enough for £ity should not be deemed good enough for Spurs, and he will demand massive wages, and also probably would not want to join Spurs anyway, so its a waste of time even thinking about.
People keep banging the `Paratici is a game changer` drum, but they have no idea if any of his signings will be a success or not. They could all flop and he could be Baldini mk2 for all anybody knows, the proof will ultimately be in the pudding.
Anybody who thinks selling Kane (without already having a PL proven quality replacement ready to take over) is a good idea, needs their head looking at. We could sell Kane, replace him with 2 forwards and they could both flop (our history of signing new CF`s is horrendous). We have seen this pantomime before remember, and the same nonsense was said when Bale was sold, and look what happened there.
Think you'd be mad not to take 100 + Laporte tbh. 100 gives you enough to sign Lautaro and another, and Laporte and Romero will be a top partnership, both with their best years in front of them. A real foundation to build around defensively. Finance the signing of a RB with the sales of Winks and Sissoko, and then your back line could look top tier.
Sorry Billy but i disagree.
Laporte is clearly a very good centre back. Just because he can't get into a quad worth £1.5B certainly does not make him a bad player.
His current wages are £120k p/week so yes we can afford him.
Obviously this is only viable if he is keen to join Spurs.
Selling Kane is the right way to go if he is pushing for a leave and no longer wants to play for Spurs. The money we would get along with potential players could transform the squad.
Paratici has a very good track record. Yes i'm sure not all the signings will be a success but that's just football.
Of course buying players is a risk but we are at least identifying high quality players.
Chaps.
The Beast is just sharing what he's heard. He's not claiming to know everything, and all of us are clutching at rumours and gossip, so let's not all give him a hard time and interrogate him!
It's a forum to share thoughts and that's what he's doing
Personally I'd take 100m + Laporte. Kane wants out so take cash plus a decent player in a position that we need.
Get at least one striker in, a RB and we're looking pretty good. Of course we'll never be able to replace kane but maybe as a team we can improve from last year. We'll need big seasons from Dele, Berg and Son but that's not impossible to imagine
Beast....
One would assume that we are attempting to buy Martinez, even if Kane were to stay... Vlahovic & Martinez if Kane was to go... I’d that the general consensus around the club?
Also... what on earth is going on with N’Dombele?

Agree entirely about Laporte. Spurs and City are not close to being at the same level. A player who is ‘not quite good enough’ to get in City’s first eleven, is still an extremely good player.
Laporte would improve us massively.
Jesus I’d be less keen on, he’s basically a less good Son.
(That last sentence sounds like I’m talking about the bible&hellip
Thanks Magic. Spot on mate.
Conn - that's correct, we will push hard on those two strikers.
Re Ndombele - the feeling is he will stay and they will asses this season. There is frustration in the club as he is quality but just doesn't seem to really want it.
I seriously don't get why Spurs would accept just £100 million plus a City cast off, who doesn't want to be at Spurs.
Surely it has to be a minimum of £160 million, then Spurs go out and buy players that do want to be at the club.
City are desperate to sign, just don't make it easy.
Sandy this is based on Laporte wanting to join, So far the club has said no to players.
If Laporte is keen he is a high quality left footed centre back with PL experience. That would be a great singing.
We could then spent £60-70m on a Kane replacement and have £30-40m left over for

So let's get this straight, some Spurs fans are up in arms that City have unsettled Kane & turned his head, to the extent that some of you want City sanctioned for doing so BUT are quite happy for your own club to do the same to try and get one of their targets.
Hypocrisy much.
