Too early to say who will win the premier yet but Chelsea has to be slight favorited from what we'get seen not what we hope for.
Ronaldo may be just what utd need and lead them to the title or get croked and find the pl too tough for his 36 year old body. Freak of nature or not.
In my opinion this will be one of the tightest races in pl history with four teams with legitamite chances.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are clear favourites. Chelsea won't even be in the race past March.

Liverpool aren't good enough and City have too many midfielders.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How can having too many of something be an issue?

Some very bold talk given a ball has barely been kicked by any of the new signings yet.

This article could age very well in a few months time.

Ronaldo is a huge gamble, even the MEN - Your own mouthpiece said City played you like a flute over that transfer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not like we've dropped 100m on him, honestly even if it doesn't work out, we've not really lost that much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£55m in wages?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably less than Grealish’s contract.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know which one I would rather have...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Different teams need different things I guess. If there was one thing we didn't need after also signing Sancho, and having Bruno, was another player like Grealish. In our team I'd rather have Ronaldo over Grealish.

Some of that is largely down to Ronaldo just being a United legend (and me honestly not caring about whether or nor he scores a million goals, I'm just happy I get to watch one of the best in the world play for United again), and partly our only proper forward is Cavani, and now we have 2 decent forwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't get me wrong I would have chosen CR7 all day... I don't think City needed grealish they have two or three players already of this ilk, (not withstanding the fact that Bernardo may be going soon)

Liverpool's biggest problem will be losing mane and salah to afcon in January

Nah, heard the same thing every year. It’ll most likely be a one horse race. Two horse race at best. I don’t see man utd or Liverpool keeping up with Chelsea or city.

To be the best, you have to beat the best, and Spurs have already done that.

Spurs will win the league.

The bookies ave United at 4th favourites to win the title at very generous odds.

They obviously haven’t been reading Culers articles

I’ve read that Ronaldo was offered to City at £240k a week which aroused some interest.

United then offered double that and the interest was over.

Seems United made themselves a Transfer Template when they bought Alexis Sanchez and were quite prepared to go down the same route again

Improve the department that was the cause of our problems last season and we're weaker. Yeah makes sense.

Where did you read that?

Ronaldo who was earning 1 million per week offered to join the richest club in the world for quarter of the wages. Seems believable eh?

Looks like I might be able to make my FCB article sooner than I expected!

One of my clients has errrrm, placed me on temporary leave that may become permanent!

Sorry to hear that, Culer.

If it's any consolation, I think you have a bright future as an internet content generator.

I agree that City have to be slight favourites because they are champions and they have their squad in place. They had an underwhelming window and probably need a striker but there is no point buying a player for the sake of it - he must fit into the system. Remember Pep bought Ibra for Barca and discovered that no matter how good you are, mobility is key to his system.

I think Chelsea will be stronger. Good, deep squad. Proper centre forward - we only need hi to score 15-20 goals, as long a he holds the ball up and helps build play around him - he's a battering ram forward not a cultured striker. I also think Havertz, Mount, James et al will improve tis year, with age and experience.

I also think United have signed well. I like Varane and Sancho will give them something else. I don't think they are or will ever be world class but they are very very good players. Ronaldo will give them a lift too.

It's Liverpool who I doubt. Let's be quite frank - their success came off the back of a system which the excellent Klopp implemented. But it is a very physical system and Liverpool looked jaded after their efforts over two fabulous seasons. I have my doubts as to how good Salah actually is - I know it sounds stupid - but he's just fast and scores lots of penalties. Mane was the star for me but he looks shot at the moment. They didn't sign anybody of note either and are a top midfielder or two short in my opinion. Maybe they will prove me wrong but I don't think they will win this year. I do think Klopp is a great coach though.

So - too close to call but City slight favourites for me.

Which we all know is complete Bollox.

The whole world knows you would only take him on a free. And your representatives put that in writing. We’ve seen the email in La Gazzetta.

City didn't offer near that. Was watching an Italian speaking on Sky Italia and the same guy on SSN and he said that City's wage offer was low and they were "slightly" interested but not enough to fight for him.

Ronaldo isn’t going to accept 240k per week contract fffs. Some of you are seriously deluded.

I wonder if he’s going to pay tax this time?

If Liverpool somehow do then i'll leave for 6.
