That’s a nice fantasy, Rob. Both teams are utter shiiiiit. They would have continued to be shiiiiit regardless of the result. Levy was always gonna pull the trigger before we were because he usually does and Spurs were desperate for Conte. We weren’t which is why he’s not our manager.

If we’d beaten them, they’d likely go for Conte
-----------------
Nah. If we wanted Conte we'd have gone for him after the Liverpool game. Similarly, if Conte had any indication we wanted him he'd probably have waited a few weeks. No offence.
Rightly or wrongly (rightly imo), I dont think we were ever in for Conte.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't look like you were in for anyone tbf unless the masterplan is to wait for Poch to leave PSG. I still can't believe we've landed Conte, so cheers for that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let’s see who United get, Cant see it being Poch - PSG won’t let him go. Their next move has got interim appointment written all over it, as I can’t see who they would want to trust the full rebuild to.
They should look at Gallardo though, he was the only other manager I was interested in other than Conte, I think he would do a great job at United.
Hahaha, what is this sharticle?
You were already booing your team at half today

This. If he was on our radar we'd have made a move for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This may be true, but if I was a Utd fan, would I be happy with that? Turn down a proper elite manager and instead install a caretaker with zero experience as a manager for 8 months? Sometimes I despair at the decisions of our hierarchy, but Utd's hierarchy take it to another level.

If he got us 4th this season and then furcked off in the summer that would put us in a strong position to build from. My guess is we come 4th this year, make the final of the Euro cup (hopefully win it). Levy then diiicks him about in the summer, Conte loses his Shieeeit about 6 games in and walks. We end up with Brendan who has been sacked by Leicester at the end of this season.

Conte needs to change the mentality of the players AND the fans. The Spursiness has to be eradicated in the supporters as well. It's not easy I know. I've been going to games for 45 years and the one constant has been the expectation of inevitable collapse infusing the atmosphere at the Lane. We, as fans, have been turning up for decades demanding to be entertained and as soon as we're not we're one of the most moaning and quiet crowds around. Conte's geeing up of the crowd today was, for me, one of the most significant signs that we've landed exactly the manager we've needed for generations. Early days of course, but what a breath of fresh air.

I think they will view him as being too similar to Jose. And I don't think our sqaud suits his approach. We are top heavy with attacking playera and especially wide attacking players. We've got maybe one decent attacking wing back. Conte coming in would have required a lot of player movement.
Apparently Poch wants the job NOW according to the Daily Mail as their top story. He’s ‘unhappy’ in France and misses England.

Poch or Ten Hag
I have always been a fan of Poch since he came to the epl. I like his methods and he seems the safe bet
while Ten Hag could be spectacular he could also flop big time and fail to adapt to the EPL
Personally, I can't decide who I'd prefer
