as darren says, he's spent over 60 hours now on this site making increasingly bizarre comments which have one thing in common, a desperate attempt to downplay the gravity of this event, and to shift the focus onto the victim's actions.

hence an endless stream of "he'll be out by the end of the day...community service...maybe he just wanted a cuddle...he wanted secks, she didn't, he got angry...her submissive tone in another video" etc etc etc

To be fair, those were two comments about two different videos, and the first, if I remember (which was about the video/audio that was shared on social media) wasn’t what Don thought had happened but how he was saying it might be (mis)interpreted. Juxtaposing those two comments makes what Don said worse than it is.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think Don’s stance has been to blame the victim, rather to downplay the potential seriousness of what’s happened so that if Greenwood gets anything less than a lengthy prison sentence he can say he told us so.

true, i couldn't be bothered to clarify that. but you could, perhaps, then ask what the victim's "submissive tone" in one video has to do with her apparently being assaulted. or why rdd feels the need to say that he's not "condoning anything" - why would anyone need to introduce that disclaimer?

so i'm not really sure that juxtaposing them makes it seem worse...if anything, a "submissive tone" in the very same video might at least be relevant to the behaviour between the pair; but reading that from one video into another is utterly weird, and thoroughly creepy.

So Greenwood if found guilty is going to have to get a very good brief to just serve 5 years.
