Also , OP when did you have Arsenal down for top 4 because i'm sure NO-ONE, not even Arsenal fans, thought we'd get top 4 this season at the start of the season?
I'm still not confident now that we will tbh..
Spurs have looked at there best under Conte when we have had a week to prepare.
I think it really helps any team but especially in the early period of a new manager when everything is not so easy and ingrained.

This argument should be resoled at the POSTPONED (for reasons of massive fear of losing to the rivals by Farteta) in the next NLD!

That won't resolve much coz you lot could well win that game then lose the next one etc, it's all about consistency now, which even you lot must admit, Spurs are not at the moment.

I’d still fancy united to take points off of you at old Trafford given how poor they were yesterday, can’t see how they won’t be up for it next sat. You still have to go to Anfield aswell, Westham at home, Brighton away will def be tricky for you. Think you’re looking at it like you will win every game til the end of the season. We will drop points for sure but I doubt whether you or United have the consistency to capitalise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs will definitely drop plenty of points, as will Arsenal, but if they beat Arsenal at home, then it is just a three point gap to make up and a few goals. And Spurs should in reality be able to bridge a gap that small.

Of Arsenal`s remaining fixtures they still have four away London derbies to play at Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham and Palace. Liverpool, Leicester and Man United at home. And some more tricky away games at Villa, Southampton and Newcastle. So looking at those fixtures there is plenty of scope for Arsenal to drop lots of points
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course there is and we know we'll drop points along the way but i'm pretty confident that your lot will drop more, you have put yourselves in a position in which you are under immense pressure to win every game, just to catch us up, and you know how your lot do under pressure..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Difference is Spurs are capable of beating some of the better sides, Arsenal are not. I would not be surprised to see Spurs go to Old Trafford and win, whereas Arsenal are pretty well certain to lose at home to Liverpool, lose to Chelsea, and then Spurs will probably have to beat them at WHL, which going by the past decade, Spurs usually win that game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not totally true is it though Sandy, your hoping we don't beat any big teams but even you can't deny that we are a better team than earlier in the season and it's not clean cut that we will lose all those games you think we will. Even so, i highly doubt Spurs are capable of winning 4 games on the bounce anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said mate, the only teams Arsenal have beaten in their recent so called good run are teams in the bottom half a dozen, plus Wolves twice, who are in poor form themselves.

You can only beat what is in front of you right? The fact is that Spurs couldn't beat the bottom team in the league when they were put in front of them, whose fault is that?
Spurs shot themselves in the foot by losing to Southampton, Wolves and Burnley when on paper they should have won all those games. Those three results have really given Arsenal a way to top four, even though they are a very average outfit themselves.

People talking about Arsenal playing Chelsea when the title might already be decided - but we have Norwich and Burnley in our last 2 games who may already be relegated at that point.

The point was that you maybe need to be looking at Spurs beating Burnely etc rather than trying to put us down for doing what we (and your team) should have done, which is beat the teams that you probably should.
So in a head to head over the remaining Fixtures, Arsenal sitting with a +6 point advantage.

It's the smaller teams you have to be consistent against to get top 4.
Spurs are the very opposite of this. You can't play just counter attack against these teams, you need midfielders to take control and go for them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf we were pretty good against these teams up to the awful run of Southampton, Wolves and Burnley (doing a bit of a disservice including Wolves in there)
I think we’d only lost to Palace before that.
To be honest , Arsenal really can't lose. If they beat lower and / or average teams, usually at home, they are lauded by all and sundry.
If they lose to a half decent team, which they invariably do, they are excused as "still developing"
Must be nice to have that constant free ticket to be allowed to "develop" for, what is it now, about 5 or 6 years.
Oh and just so somebody makes the point ( media sure won't ) they are the only one of the so called "chancing pack" that has not had European footie distractions this season. Yeah, just to set the records straight, whilst Spurs were constantly imploding in the media, Arsenal weren't even good enough to actually qualify for the European slots last season.
Still.....they ARE still developing, right ?
You got lucky with a few last minute winners, then your form started aligning with performances imo.
Conte struggles against these teams as you don't really have the midfielders to take control of games.
