Sorry Genius I have zero sympathy for fans that have been living off the back of a Russian who laundered his money through their club. They lapped up the success the laundered money brought them, with no thought for other clubs or supporters that have tried to do things the right way. Abramovich and his money have completely distorted the finances in football with his dirty money.
By staying silent about Abramovich they are just as culpable. He should never have been allowed anywhere near British football in the first place.

When Roman arrived twenty years ago at the bridge, invasion of Ukraine in 2022 was predicted.
Chelsea fans should have seen this coming and ditched their club?
Like other fans would have done 😜
Couldnt they give them sanctions like
"Must lose all games against Spurs"
?

Cheers GG, from my point of view, through the dark days of the 80s when I nearly lost the club I've loved since I was 5, I can echo the sentiment that I feel more for fans like Derby, Wimbledon and Bury that are, or were in danger of losing their clubs.
I feel very privileged that I witnessed my club win just one league title before my time was up, let alone everything else we've won.
The days I spent going to grounds like Bootham Crescent, Edgar Street, Eastville, Boundary Park and Millmoor have given me a sense of perspective over this.
Hopefully, if I go to the Winchester for a pint, wait for this to blow over, we'll come out fine the other side!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you are absolutely correct Brummie . It may take more than a few pints, but when this finally blows over and the sun shines once again on the Bridge , I believe we will be fine.
Whatever happens we will continue with our love of Chelsea and remember with relish those wonderful memories , denied to certain other rival clubs, currently relishing in our current situation.
Eventually , once the dust has settled, a certain time down the road , a statue of Roman Abramovich will be set up at the Bridge or new stadium to show appreciation for our Nr 1 Fan. He will always be in our hearts.
I feel even in this a awful uncertain period, a great optimism for the future. Just instinct, .....i canna explain it. In the meantime..
CHEERS!
Chelsea will be the biggest bargain football has ever seen now. As long as the right owner gets that bargain Chelsea fans won't suffer long term.
Even if sponsors void contracts they will be renegotiation once the club cuts it's ties with Roman.
May not be quite as high but a smart buyer may even be able to get better deals when a new era starts. Really is hard to predict.

Gonna be so many disappointed fans of other clubs, mainly Spurs by the look of it when this is all resolved. They actually think a London club with the billion dollar links of Chelsea are gonna collapse

And other fans point scoring against Chelsea fans, for the actions of Putin or Roman, is quite revealing.

In the end it’s upto Chelsea fans what happens next.
They could try and be vocal and force Abramovic out of the club so they can go back to normal, or shake fists on his behalf at the sanctions.
Are they Chelsea FC or Abramovic FC?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
CFC....clue in name👍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actions speak louder than names mate. So far zero action to force Abramovic out.

Sanctions have already ensured RA is gone.
The Home Office delayed the renewal of his visa back in 2018 following the Russian Salisbury attack. And he in turn became an Israeli citizen. And more recently he became a Portuguese citizen.
3 has ditched us now.
Not looking good, we'll see who's next!
I have seen many Chelsea fans including myself express the view that is sanctions are applied to Roman then that is perefctly acceptable and now that time has come. If theer is even the slightest suspecion that funds are getting back to Putin, then this is the right deicsion.
Thi sis a massive blow to the club in the short term and could set it back a few years in terms of a title challenge, but in the bigger scale of things so what.
The longer term future of Chelsea will depend on the next owners ....at the moment no one knows who that will be
