We will play a Charlton athletic cheap purchase at rb.
No issue.
Maybe a kid from a northern Ireland club got for nowt.
Always had a soft spot for Forest.
The way you beat Arsenal and Leicester means we have to go in strong.
Liverpool have lots of injuries piling up. TAA and Salah both on the treatment table now.
Rev - you should subtitle this thread - 'Forest's Free Hit'.
It's great to be involved and an opportunity to give some of our kids a taster of things potentially to come. However (in the grand scheme of things) our priorities are surely elsewhere atm. We have nothing to lose (unless a load of our players end-up getting crocked!!).
Here's to a great game lads
I see Alexander- Arnold is out with a phantom hamstring injury, 100% he will return after the international break, this is just Varpool excusing him from the England squad as they know they can do without him v Forest.
It gives him a nice little break and means he will be refreshed for the run in when he returns to the Varpool team after the internationals.
Yet more disgusting behaviour from Varpool, blatantly putting club before country once again.

Great thread...hopefully it isn’t derailed to much and just focuses on the game.
A shame about McKenna, as that’s three starters missing now. With nine subs we’ll probably see the whole squad out there!
If we can keep it to a max of one goal down at HT then we have a chance. However, it really depends on Klopp’s team selection for us to have a real chance.
As a Liverpool fan living in Nottingham I am very much looking forward to this game. It's a pity Forest have picked up a couple of injuries really, be good to see then full strength.
Should be an easy game on the eye.

I agree with what you say, this is where the dearth of the squad will hopefully pay dividends, I just hope those coming in are ready to take their chance - I’m sure SC will have them all in the right frame of mind
Whatever I defence is looking like, we have the potential up front to hurt any team - here’s hoping eh?

No, what I don't understand is why a player would turn away from the chance to play for his country. Yes the club pays his wages, so yet again it is down to cold hard cash.
But to be fair I think the player probably is injured. Time will tell, but if he should be back on the pitch for L'pools first game after the break and I were the England World cup I'd leave him out of squads until after the World Cup.
Yes shame about McKenna. Probably mean a back four on Sunday; it woud be too big a risk to start with Panzo.
Number of games is catching up with us. Just hope we can hang in there and stay in touch until we get some players back in.

I dont think anyone will be losing any sleep over Trent missing games against the Ivory Coast and Switzerland. Doubt he would have played anyway.
The good thing for us is that Forest play the kind of football Liverpool love to play. Perhaps a glimmer of hope for you is that at times we've looked a bit disjointed when wholesale changes have been made. More bad news for you is we may not make a host of chances considering the gap until the next league game.
Focusing on Forest outside of this game, I'd love to see you coming up. Forest should be in the PL and Cooper deserves it with the way he sets his teams up. Reminds me of Rodgers, with the 'talk' that some people seem to dislike.
