How exactly is it a good deal for us they get him for 6 months don't play him, our form nose dives
He's comes back ready for August allowed to negotiate a free transfer in January
Are you suggesting that our form has nose dived because he went to Barca?
All our players out on loan, bar two, will return to the club, at least on paper. If he negotiates a deal that either keeps him at the club, or moves on, is ok with me.
Trincao v Traore? Personally I'd get rid of both and bring in a decent player.
That said, I do think we lost something when Traore left, opposition teams were shat scared of him and that allowed other players to exploit space and match ups. He was unconventional and brought something unique to our play. No. End. Product though.

Yeah this for me. I think Trincao could work in the right set up and will likely be a very good player somewhere but just don't that being us any time soon.

Not because he left no
But its relatively obvious we've missed his impact
A lot of fans would be quite happy to see Traore back I'm sure. But from the club's perspective it would be a disaster. Unless he did a u turn and signed a new contract which is highly unlikely, he will walk away on a free in a year's time and the club are £18m out of pocket. I think he should be sold this summer for whatever the club can recoup.
And whilst on the subject of recouping losses I think the club should "do a Benik Afobe" with Hwang. ie make his loan permanent and then sell him.
didn't we already make his loan permanent?
Looks Like Man Utd have cemented 6th, so it's us or West Hm for 7th.
I think our chances of finishing higher have gone now. We need to be more focused on staying in 8th.
Yeah, West Ham will surely get at least a point against Norwich which leaves us needing two wins probably given the GD.
Leicester actually have 4 very winnable games against the bottom three and Southampton, three of them at home.

Which is why I suggested it may be wise to keep him for another season However, if he still wants to leave and someone gives us a decent offer, then I'm ok with that too.
Do you just argue for the sake of it?
No i don't argue for the sake of it, I can't name single person on here I argue with...I do engage in debate though as that's the point of a forum
Maybe if you stuck to your guns and didn't keep flip flopping we'd not be like this
So for the final time
How was turning down 20m from spurs and then sending him to Barca without a concrete deal in place a good bit of business for us
Do feel sorry for Adama how things have worked out. He got his dream move to Barca and looked to be set up but things look to have gone pear shaped. The perception appears to be that he hasn’t impressed there or has lost form yet his record doesn’t seem to show that. He has only started three games for them and in those games they won two and drew the other and scored 10 goals. Yet he has only made sub appearances since. They signed him because Dembele was refusing to sign a new contract and wasn’t playing well but, since having Traore challenging for his position he has evidently been brilliant. Tough times for Adama who must be evaluating what to do next. Can’t see him wanting to come back to Wolves personally and the club would have to be convinced his heart was in it if he did
I read an article by Mike Taylor on the BBC website yesterday that suggested the Bruno has been the victim of timing, had he got us to 49 points and 8th place with the poor performances scattered more evenly through the season there probably wont have been too many complaints. Which is fair enough but the fact is the dip in form has been quite dramatic and although its no coincidence that Kilman, Podence and Neves have been missing for that period, there is no excuse for sloppy play or the lack of fight and desire that we've seen at this level.
Lots of speculation about Bruno having lost the dressing room and maybe that is the case. He has been outspoken and in my view has gotten dragged in to saying stuff in public that he thinks the fans want to hear. He probably felt emboldened to say those things because he believed the fans were in his camp, but as is the way a couple of poor results and things swing very quickly. It could be that he has now left himself isolated with supporters on his back and players who feel he's not on their side. Not a great place to be.
You know when a team overachieves one season, but then sack a manager because of a couple of hiccups along the way. Then we all look at it from the outside thinking it's a stupid decision that they'll live to regret.
That's going to be us.

The only exception to that seems to be Soton, when they sacked Appleton? after 3 promotions on the bounce, but then got Poch in as manager and seemed to kick on
I think if the rumours are true about the training ground bust up and Bruno losing the dressing room, then the time has come for an overhaul of the squad. Some of the players have had it too cosy for too long and we are starting to see a few bad eggs in the camp who think they hold the power.
We all know what happened last time we let that kind of thing manifest and just changed managers hoping to revert it.

Yes and supporters of clubs like Leicester, Brighton, Brentford & Villa will probably be looking at us lot now, chucking our toys out of our prams and stamping our feet and laughing their t!ts off at us.
I think the first half at Newcastle and the whole game against Brighton were exceptionally poor. I use the word exceptionally deliberately because if that was how we have generally played under Bruno we would be much lower in the league than 8th.
Its disappointing how things have gone at a key point of the season but even on current form tables for the last 6 games we are above the likes of Villa, West Ham and Southampton, on the same points as Leicester and have one point less than Man Utd and Chelsea.
Those two performances were a real concern but I would choose to judge Bruno over 34 games not 1.5 and I think 8th represents a good first season for him
Reading about Conor Ronan who has had a good season on loan at St Mirren and made a clean sweep of their end of season awards. He was voted player of the season by the players at the club, and by the supporters and also walked away with their goal of the season award.
Probably won’t get another chance at Wolves but has surely done enough to earn a decent contract elsewhere

I have no idea, so I suggest you put that question to the board of Wolves. I'm not flip flopping either. I said at the time it was best for both parties, but it hasn't worked out, so my view is, it may be best to keep him if it's at all possible. If he still wants to leave, that's fine by me too. I'm sure we'll recoup most of the 18m we paid for him if he does go, so I don't see it being a problem.

Totally agree with that DJ and I still believe in Bruno.
We can only hope that Fosun stop messing around and provide the guy with some of his own choice players.

He and Traore were the two players that were bringing something different to our play, without them we've become very predictable going forward.
