Stearman was playing too.
I saw Stearman at the Safari park not long back, not working I presume as a visitor
Yeah, although there's definitely plenty of sh!t to shovel there, I never really saw him in the sweeper role.
Always liked Stearman. One of those players who always seemed to give everything.
There was the feeling that we were always waiting for the next calamitous error with Stearman, thankfully as his career progressed the gaps between them lengthened. I did refer to him as reckless Richard for a while though.
Going to a gig at Wembley tomorrow evening, unfortunately havent got a ticket for the match, but my Chelsea supporting cousin who is also coming to the gig with me is along with our respective other halves. It could be a long evening if we get battered.
...mis-typed that, my cuz is going to the match on his own, four of us going to the gig.
Stearman was good but somewhat unreliable in my opinion. He was also the ring leader for the boozy part of the dressing room that existed in those days with the likes of Stephen Fletcher and Roger Johnson very willing partners.
Whats the gig you are seeing oldgold?
he always seemed to get targeted by the sniper
apparently Bruno has the 'rona
Yes Bruno will not travel to the Chelsea game
Wonder where he went after last Saturdays game when he was spotted at Manchester Airport
Goalkeeping coach Robert’s did the press conference today. Said Podence has been training this week and may be available tomorrow
we might get a goal then if Podence gets on the pitch
Wolves u23s v Norwich in the play off semi finals is at 19:00 on the 17th May at Molineux. Tickets need to be booked in advance even though they are free for season ticket holders

Gazza Numan DJ, I was too young to go to his last Wembley gigs in 1981, so making sure I don't miss out this time.
Seems like just about everyone is still picking up Covid after flights. Im fairly sure I had another bout of it after a particularly packed train journey back to Penkridge after the Villa game, test was negative but it felt very similar to the Covid I had in December.

my daughters had it twice so it is possible..... first time tested negative after 4 days, 2nd time negative after 5
I had the same experience with my second bout of covid. Had all the symptoms but tested negative. My first bout was in the old delta days that knocked me out for 3 weeks but the omicron version passed in 4 days
Gary Numan! A blast from the past, sure he’ll put on a good show.
I was due to be seeing a folky type, Katherine Priddy next Wednesday but the rearranged City game has put paid to that for me. So my next gig comes at the end of May when I see Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. Maybe nobody on here will have heard of them?
The U23s Cup Final between Wolves and Albion will be on Friday 13th. And it’s going to be at the Hawthorns at 19:00
Foo Fighters cancelled the festival I was going to in Florida in a few weeks for obvious reasons. I got the money back for the festival tickets and invested the money in going to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in June.
I saw the chilli's at V, you'll enjoy that Tam
Villa have announced their season ticket prices for next season and the cheapest seats in the Holte End are 40% more than this season
Wolves yet to announce their prices
Got a ticket for the match now, in the Chelsea end though which should be interesting

I was amazed at how many people weren't wearing a mask on the flights to and from Hawaii. There are levels of stupid but that is surely right up there. Why would anyone going on vacation decide not to wear a mask on a flight surrounded by morons ffs??? Planes are notorious for carrying germs on a good day, without taking covid into it.

True, the worst chest infection I had was after a flight back from Spain about 10 years ago, much worse than covid for me. These things seem to affect all of us in different ways. I'll be masked up on the train tomorrow.
