The 6th time we've done this. Will try to keep the top page updated.
It looks likely that Jack Iredale will be joining us soon as he has turned down the chance of joining Ipswich Town and is said to be close to agreeing terms with the Wanderers.
Hopefully, the next few days will see him sign and then we will have to wait for the announcement. Who will follow him is anyone's guess but I don't expect it will be long before we hear of a few more possibilities being linked to the club.
So Jay Jay was back at the stadium. The best player that I have seen live and what player he was. Happy memories and I'm thrilled to have been able to watch him play for our team, Bolton Wanderers.
It's looking likely that Marlon Fossey will become a Wanderer. Talks have been held with the player and his agents. Matters are not yet concluded but it's looking good for his return to the club.
Hopefully, Fossey and Jack Ireland will be at Bolton in the near future. I wonder who will be next on the list.
Iredale is on the pitch. He has a scarf. The pitch is ours and so is the scarf.
He is a Wanderer as of 4 minutes ago.

Only 9th may and we are signing players. The season hasn't ended either.
It looks to be a great signing. Fossey next and then onto the other list of players that have been earmarked by Chris and Ian.
Hopefully, Trafford will follow once the Premiership season finishes.
A slow news day yesterday. Hopefully, we will hear some positive transfer news soon.
It gets quite boring when nothing happens.
I'm surprised we have a signing confirmed considering how early it is and it's still the current season. I've no idea why league one apart from the play off final is done while the premier league and the conference is still going.
In comparison to other teams, you are right but we know that Evatt likes to get his business done early.
He likes to beat the competition to the prospects that he wants. He seems quite good at getting most of his targets.
So another shirt sponsor next season taking over from home bargains. At least 2 new shirts to buy. Also the last season unibol sponsoring the stadium.
We have to go after the money. I must admit that I was a little surprised that The University of Bolton were our sponsor when they were awarded the naming rights.
I'm sure that there is a lot more cash out there but our situation of dropping down to division two after the takeover left the club in a position where it couldn't demand big money from sponsors.
However, we were fortunate that The University of Bolton and Home Bargains stepped into the breach and sponsored the club. So a big thank you has to go to them. Tommy Morris the owner of Home Bargains is a massive Everton supporter and also has connections with Liverpool so I suppose that we were lucky that he and Michael James are good friends, otherwise, I doubt that we would have had his support.
I'm finding it strange ye old pasty hasn't been on here for a while. Sheffield Wednesday game the last comment. Plus golden not heard off all season. Hope we can get members back and new ones for next season.
Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a local company stepping in for either the stadium or the shirt - someone like AO.
However, last year the lads at Boohoo met Sharon for a meeting and nothing has come out of that yet, (that has been mentioned anyway), so perhaps a bit of future planning may be due.

Benny, I have been worried about Pasty for a while. I honestly could never have seen any possible reason for Pasty deserting the board unless something quite significant had happened.
We know that he was recalled to the UK and flew into London. I just hope that everything went well for him when he arrived back in the UK and that nothing untoward has happened.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that he returns soon and that everything is good with him.
It's great to see that Fabrice has secured a position in our coaching set up.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him venture into management in the fullness of time. I wish him all the best and hope that he is successful in his future career.
So Dapo has been linked with Rangers with a possible £1,500,000 price tag which has been muted by Nixon.
Personally, I don't think that we should let him go for what seems to me to be a paltry price for a player of his quality. I would much sooner see him spend another season with us and if a much bigger offer comes in after the 2022/2023 season finishes then that may be an option. Dapo also has the opportunity to improve during the next twelve months.
There will be money to spend for the coming season and our recruitment method seems to be successful. So there doesn't seem much point in letting our star player go for 1.5 million. however if an offer over 5 million was on the table, that might be worth talking about.
What are your feelings on the matter? Would you let him go for 1.5 million?

Rangers would have to stump up more for Dapo. I'd suggest double it and we'd be considering it.
Notice the club are in talks to knock back evening kick off times to 7:45 after the planning restrictions surrounding us having to start at 8 were softened.
Too cheap. If madine went for £6m afolayan is over £10m. Kick offs keep at 8. It was moved to 8 as the stadium was moved out of town so to give the fans time to get to the Reebok. I'm guessing the ones who want an earlier kick off don't finish work at 5 and have to commute 10 miles or so home.
I would like to think that we would get £10,000,000 for Dapo he is worth that sort of money but money isn't as free-flowing as it used to be.
We would need a Premiership club coming in for him to get that sort of money or at the very least a club in the championship that has plenty of cash and needs to add that final particular player into their squad to help them to get into the Premiership.
The best solution would be if we could keep him and gain promotion next season. Then it would be game set and match because we would need him to gain promotion to the Premier League.
We can all dream.
