I think they will be right on our tails tbf with Spurs a little further back.
I think United will surprise a few this year. I can see them pushing top four, possibly higher. If Ten Hag gets them playing the way his Ajax team did, they could be frightening with United's resources.
We beat them in the CL semi-finals in 2019 but in truth they utterly battered us over both legs.

Id never be foolish enough to predict Spurs winning anything BUT.. worthy noting....
1) Spurs had the 3rd most points gained (behind City & Liverpool) from when Conte took over
2) Beat City twice and drew with Liverpool twice
3) Have upgraded their squad to a greater extent than anyone in the league
As those with far greater experience than me of winning teams knows... You need a strong spine in your team..... Lloris, Dier, Romero, Bissouma, Bentancur, Kane & Son.... Is very decent & Conte is winner.... Spurs will be no mugs this year
I don't think there will be a ton of points between City, Spurs and Liverpool

They destroyed us until we went route 1 bypassing the midfield - at which point they just couldn’t defend against Llorente, De ligt looked like a little boy lost. Ten Hag is gonna find a few teams go route one against him in this league - will be interesting to see if he has learnt

Bissouma - improves our midfield
Perisic - starting LWB with 8 goals and 7 assists last season
Richarlison - cover across the front line
3 quality additions strengthen us. Forster who cares, back up keeper on a free. Lenglet - big question marks. Spence - young prospect, not a Conte choice.
Conte had no Europe, he also had no pre season.
Jan window signings were a huge success - Kulu’s stats ended shaaating all over Dias.
Finally, we’re not done in the market, with arguably our 2 marquee signings still to come in

You think Perisic at 33 will get those farmers league stats in the PL
Chelsea have signed Sterling, Kola, and Kounde apparently almost done.

Facking hell, some of these predictions
Bookmarked to link at the end of the calendar year.
Somebody asked where Spurs fans’ confidence is coming from all of a sudden.
Newsflash: they do this every single season. When reminded of the fact that they do it every single season, they say, “This time it’s different because of x, y, z…” When reminded that they also said that the previous season and maybe there’s a lesson to be learned, they say, “No, no, no, not this time.”
Then come October…

Where’s all this confidence coming from from Spurs fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They don't learn
Chelsea will finish above them for me.
Chillwell and James both back to full fitness too, they really missed them for large parts of last season.
A massive part of their attack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
either or youd think will be best positioned for 3rd
Chilwell seems to always have injuries in his career so far though tbf
think their defence isnt really an issue, see how their attack clicks
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think they will be right on our tails tbf with Spurs a little further back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Id never be foolish enough to predict Spurs winning anything BUT.. worthy noting....

I think United will surprise a few this year. I can see them pushing top four, possibly higher. If Ten Hag gets them playing the way his Ajax team did, they could be frightening with United's resources.
We beat them in the CL semi-finals in 2019 but in truth they utterly battered us over both legs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They destroyed us until we went route 1 bypassing the midfield - at which point they just couldn’t defend against Llorente, De ligt looked like a little boy lost. Ten Hag is gonna find a few teams go route one against him in this league - will be interesting to see if he has learnt

You're additions really aren't that good bar Bissouma.
Sorry I just don't get the hype.
Conte didn't have any Europe to contend with last season I can't remember how you got on in the cups.
Lets see how you get on playing twice a week every week
I take you lot want domestic cup runs too

It will be Liverpool vs Man Utd for 4th place I think this season.

Like I said only good starting player in Bissouma
You think Perisic at 33 will get those farmers league stats in the PL
Chelsea have signed Sterling, Kola, and Kounde apparently almost done.
Now thats great business and there 3 quality starters, much better business than spurs

All of this.
Be no surprise to see Conte gone by this time next year.

Yeah united will surprise some people on here predicting them to be outside the top 6
Don't think they'll ever really be in the conversation for top 4 but they'll be a good side
