I'd also go with This Charming Man. Another blue, Billy Duffy with She Sells Sanctuary, class intro.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw the Cult do that live in Washington DC around 2003.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I caught them a few years back for the first time, great gig.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Astbury was totally hammered. He nearly fell of the stage and was propped up by the security.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, he'd sobered up by the time i watched them.
Just had Black Betty by Ram Jam blasting out of the Now 70's Rock channel... followed by Derek and the Domino's, Layla.... Infectious stuff!

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Spread your love
Has to be one of the best ‘Bass’ guitar intros ever.

Going back to The Jam, town called malice is a great bass intro
Might have been mentioned earlier but if not, Wish You Were Here and a great song.
Gone Shootin' into by AC/DC is pure hard rock and if you play it backwards you get the Beavis & Butt-Head theme!
Love a good bass cover or two

I like the enthusiastic bolloxs from the second guy, nicely done and probably like many my fav The Jam track, what a tune.
The Rocker- Thin Lizzy
Great guitar intro from an all time, class, rock band.
Super Charger Heaven - White Zombie, nice extended intro.
Gary Moore and Phil Lynot Parisienne Walkways

Never get tired of this... Beautiful!
This thread makes me realize that great guitar intros aren’t very important

Thats Entertainment - The Jam
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice, great intro. He should have stayed in The Jam, he's been sh!!te since it finished.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not into The Style Council at all but some of his solo stuff is dece. Not on the same level of The Jam though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
See - I preferred theStyle Council to his solo stuff
Neither compare to the Jam though
